do you hear this breath, it's an obessive breath

WHO: Kraehe, Mytho, Fakir, Duck, Ivy, anyone else who wants to rescue the idiot poof.
WHERE: Some old abandoned church thing.
WHEN: Tuesday evening.
WARNINGS: Creepy petting, crazy Desire'd crowgirl, possible violence.
SUMMARY: Rue has kidnapped Mytho (again), and is keeping him in a creepy old church! Concerned individuals come to save him, and crazy ensues.
FORMAT: Paragraph or something.

The light of the sunset filtered in through the church's filthy window, casting a dim light over the interior. Ravens lined the walls and pews, watching the center of the room with a certain interest. In the center, on the only undamaged pew, Kraehe sat, leaning over Mytho's sleeping form, watching him carefully.

It wasn't enough. Before, she would have been overjoyed just to be near him, to see his lovely face, to have him in her arms. But now there was hole of wanting within her he could not fill, now, it seemed to hurt her just to look at him. Why? Why was it no longer enough for her to have him with her?

Her hands tightened into fists. It was Fakir's fault, it had to be. Every time she looked at Mytho she thought of him, how this was normal with, how he could spend as much time with Mytho as he wanted, yet he left him alone and left him wanting for love. The thought of it made her furious. He didn't deserve him. He didn't deserve anything, save for the awful fate that had already been decided for him.

She reached over, gently running her fingers through Mytho's hair. He would meet it soon, she thought. And no one would stop her.

Roots and vines again spring up, knocking the birds away.

"I will not." That is a snarl or a growl and she crosses the room in an instant. "I have had enough. The child a part of him?" She doesn't touch either of them, vivid flashes of memory of her poor doomed park children setting off her temper and making it impossible to regulate the poisons in her body properly. "If you are with child, what's inside of you is it's own person. How dare you try and use it to try and bind some dull eyed boy to you."

ZUUL!

Duck watched Fakir try to beat down the door. It distressed her to see him so injured and still exerting himself. "Fakir, stop it! You'll hurt yourself! Anyway, it's not working. Let's find another way in."

Miki hesitated a moment, then stepped forward, closer. He could hear in Rue's mind how desperate she was, how much she wanted Mytho, and he knew the truth, but that wasn't the real problem, as much as the thought made his head spin. That was something for later. What was really important was getting Rue to understand that she couldn't cling to Mytho like this, that she might well destroy him, and in so doing, destroy herself by doing this. It was dangerous, and she might even send the ravens at him, but he had to take that risk.

"Rue-san... I'm trying to help you, and I do understand. Better than he does, the way he is now. Please, believe me. This isn't the way."

Mytho hesitated, unsure. "I didn't say I would leave..." he said softly, looking at Rue. "But I can't forget the Fakir and Ahiru...."

Fakir finally ceased his assault and stooped over to catch his breath. "Fine... you're right." He swallowed and flexed his sore, bleeding hand. At least it didn't feel broken or anything. "Could always try a window."

Ivy rubbed her forehead and resisted the urge to growl. Dear god, the kid was another Harley on the opposite end of the emotion spectrum. This is what she got for involving herself with humans (A little twinge of memory mixed with desire).

Situation resolved at least.

A little wave of her hand and the roots fall away, letting the doors of the church swing open.

Miki frowned quietly, but didn't say anything more. This... this didn't solve anything. All the underlying problems were still there. This would happen again if it weren't addressed, he could tell. Even if they were all being ruled by their desires more than usual... This didn't solve the problem. But it stopped the fight for now. He... he'd have to talk with Fakir and Ahiru about this. As much as he wanted to help Rue without involving them-- it wasn't hard to tell Rue resented them-- they might be a little more reasonable than she was being about this.

It only made sense that the doors would decide to open only when he'd stopped wailing on them. Still, Fakir wasn't one to ignore a rare stroke of good fortune, and rushed inside, sheathing his sword and pulling Duck along with him.

"Mytho!"

Oh, fudgebuckets. "Umm, we just came to check on things. Everything okay in here?" Duck was trying to pretend everything was dandy. She didn't want any outbursts from anyone, and given the way Rue was acting, she was taking no chances.

Mytho looked up at his name. "Fakir..." he said softly. "No more fighting...?"

Fakir rushed past Ivy and embraced Mytho - or rather, he collapsed and used the shorter boy to support him.

"No more fighting," he said, tightening his grip around Mytho with a weak but relieved smile. "Not tonight; I don't think I could if I wanted to."

No more fighting for the night anyway... Ivy caught one of the feathers that floated in the air, twirling it inbetween her fingers.

"Duck, where are you staying? I'll help you take your friends home a ways."

"We can bring them to Mr. Kenobi's place for the night, I guess." said Duck. "I'm staying with Mrs. Altman and Sasami and the Young Avengers."
