WHEN: Today, a few good minutes after Tommy's return.

SUMMARY: Tommy has returned with some serious news and facts about the Young Masters. TIME TO DROP THE INFO ON ELI (and try to not make Coat look too bad because he likes her yep)
FORMAT: Quick.

[Tommy was in his outfit when he arrives to the City, so he takes this opportunity to speed around as much as he can - no need to worry about people pointing fingers at him if they already recognize the superhero look.

Not that he'd care, but it helps.

He arrives at the park in a matter of seconds, stopping for a moment to take a look around. He can't really spot Eli anywhere, though, so he takes another run.]

[Eli sees the blur leave and knows better than to try and stop him, but he does yell out Tommy's name hoping that the speedster hears him]

[Tommy does hear the name, stopping immediately in his tracks. He turns his head around and makes his way to Eli. He sounds only slightly urgent.]

Dude. [A beat - he doesn't say anything like 'good to see you' because it still feels like it's been a matter of minutes since he last placed his eyes on him.] Where can we go?

[Eli looks up, at the rooftops of the buildings around them, and nods his head up to one that's a bit secluded.]

Up there. I'll meet you.

[Tommy follows Eli's indication.]

Gotcha. See you in a sec.

[Eli gets there after Tommy, as usual, but he isn't breathing hard when he comes over the side of the building]

Talk.

[Tommy's arms are crossed; he's tapping his finger on his arm impatiently. He turns his head when Eli announces his presence, immediately changing his posture.]

They're definitely bad news.

How?

[Eli's listening, and there's concern all over his face]

They told you about the whole trial thing, right? When you said you'd give them a chance and then choose who'd join us, and it'd been the three of them.

[He runs his fingers through his hair, rushed.]

It's bull. We chose the magic girl and Coat; said no to the others. Doubt I need to tell you they didn't take it too well -- oh, Coat decided to stay behind with that guy Melter -- Whatever. Anyway--

[He's quiet for a second]

What happened.

--Anyway, next thing you know he decided to call Osborn and make his team of posers side with him, and then they set us up. [He gestures.] We had to fight them, and the fake Wolverine 'n Hawkeye from Osborn's team.

[He thinks.] ... I'm pretty sure they called up the Sentry at some point. [THE GODMODING WAS SO QUICK AND EFFECTIVE IT BECAME A BLUR]

I think it was after you punched Osborn's face.

He what?

[THEN THERE IS SILENCE FOR A MINUTE]

......I....

[There's a smirk. He can't help it]

Awesome.

[He shakes his head]

So they betray us to Osborn.

[There's a small role of his eyes, but in a 'yeah, yeah' fashion.]

Yeah, pretty much. I doubt they're not gonna do the same thing here.

[Then he quickly adds-] --Coat helped us out in the end, though.

[Eli is thinking, clearly]

So what do we do?

[He sighs.] I dunno, man. I just came back from a major showdown and I've got no idea what they're doing here.

[A beat.] We've gotta tell the others.

Team meeting.
