SUMMARY: The 'Waves have been avoiding each other because of what happened during the Desire event. They finally talk about it. It's kinda like that one episode of A Single Potato.
FORMAT: Whatever the bossy person says.

[It's been a few days. A few days since they've actually spoken. Soundwave has been avoiding him, he knows. But. He's been doing the same thing really - as illogical as it is. He knows this has to be taken care of, and the sooner it was, the better. This could not be allowed to interfere with work. Hn. Desire. Troublesome.]

[Quietly he makes his way into Dancitron, the scientist could not say he was looking forward to this little chat.]

I have little idea, there is not much to go by. It could return fully by tomorrow or by next week. This does not exactly happen often.

[There's the temptation to take advantage of this. If Shockwave's logic hasn't returned yet, then perhaps he can use it. When it comes to emotion, Shockwave is oblivious enough, anyway.]

[Likely, no. He would not notice his current lack of logic being taken advantage of. Only some of it was back, and were things centered around emotions, he'd have enough trouble understanding things - even if his logic were returned fully. He picks up his tea again to finish it.]

[Soundwave considers, then tilts his head as he looks at Shockwave.]

[He blinks.]

[Yes. He was not very good with taking breaks to eat, but for tea. For tea he would take his breaks. Generally not the healthiest thing for him to do, but he functioned correctly, as far as he was aware. If anything, he could always just microwave up something - and without a microwave too.]

TEA: NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR FOOD.

[He shakes his head, a little bit in disbelief. Then he stands and peers down at Shockwave.]

WE WILL GET SOMETHING TO EAT. THEN YOU WILL RETURN TO YOUR LAB.

Hnn, I ate... earlier.

And I am aware that it is not a substitute for food, however there is not enough time to fit in a decent amount of time for eating, with everything else.

HOW MUCH EARLIER.

[Shakes his head.] LACK OF FUEL: NOT HEALTHY.

I still do not see why this is necessary, I am perfectly fine.

[Gets up anyway.]

[Gently, he places the cub into the cage he stored under one of the tables after close. He'll move her again when this is done.]

[If Shockwave doesn't follow, he lightly takes his wrist to pull him along.]

I do not see why this is so important. I do this all the time, I doubt it would suddenly start causing problems.

[Very. He isn't rough, but he does plan on dragging Shockwave along. Hmm, to where.]

FOOD PREFERENCE?

[Just makes a quite 'hn'. He really does not see how this is the most important thing at the moment.]

No preference. [He's not really picky.]

[Of course. He shrugs, stepping out from Dancitron. He's sure to lock the door before he hails a taxi, then. Not his favorite mode of transportation, but he can't fly.]

[Taxis. He has no problem with them at all. To have a problem with them would be illogical.]

[Soundwave is capable of pretending very well. Usually, his face is, of course, very impassive -- very little emotion passes. But he puts on a smile for the taxi driver and calmly requests in a different voice to head towards somewhere -- a Japanese sounding name, if Shockwave can pick it out.]

[With a hand, he changes the frequencies in the car a little, mostly so the driver can't hear anything between Shockwave or Soundwave.]

YOU ARE NOT IN ANY HURRY?

[He's not entirely paying attention. Really he cannot see why they need to go eat. Yes, he is aware that these bodies require food regularly, but he's used to getting distracted by his work and forgetting to eat actual food, and not drink copious amounts of tea. So he doesn't quite pick up on the name, not that it would matter to him either way.]

Hn. Not particularly. Why?

[It was not good to rush things. Even if he'd rather go do work than eat, there was little point to be in any hurry.]

[Folds his arms.]

There is nothing that cannot wait. [There was only one big thing he was working on, been working on since the summer, an hour or so was not going to set it back any.]
