[open] For Your Entertainment
WHO: Open to people in the general area of the MAC building.
WHERE: MAC and the surrounding block.
WHEN: January 6th, approx 12PM
WARNINGS: Excessive use of Adam Lambert and also excessive dancing/singing.
SUMMARY: Ryan doesn't want to be back in the City. So he's just going to make everyone in the MAC miserable with him.
FORMAT: Either is fine, I'm terribly unpicky.
The situation was very simple: Ryan did not like being pulled out of roles to be recast in roles he no longer fit or wanted to fit. His place as "hero" of a faux New York City was one that he no longer wanted to fill and he was being expected to fill it again despite the fact that he had been truly awful at it the first time around. So he was going to do things differently. It wasn't his City and he didn't care about it anymore.
The script told him to be a hero. He was going to be an annoyance. A trickster concerned with nothing but his own amusement.
And to start, he was going to cause some chaos. It wouldn't be anything the City hadn't been through before - just a little musical disruption - but the intensity of it would probably be unlike anything they had ever experienced.
Ryan was on the roof of the MAC building, hooking speakers up to a extension cord that was plugged into a outlet. The speakers would disappear in about four hours, as would the microphone, because there was no point in spending money when using his powers would ensure everything would disappear and there wouldn't be evidence. Suddenly, Ryan was glad that he'd played around with his powers so much when he'd been in the City previously. It made it much easier to set up everything.
The CD slid into the stereo system and Ryan pressed play, a smirk playing on his lips. The music blasted behind him and he took his place at the microphone.
"So hot out the box,
Can we pick up the pace?
Turn it up, heat it up -
I need to be entertained.
Push the limit, are you with it?
Baby, don't be afraid.
I'ma hurt 'ya real good, baby"
[ooc: notes! Unfortunately, the closer you come to Ryan the more power he has over you. He's maxing out his powers, so unless your character would never in a million years play along/have powers that counteract Ryan's, sorry. You've been recruited as backup dancers/singers. Feel free to try and stop Ryan, but know that he's shielded himself and he's likely to make you do something embarrassing. Other than that, have fun! It's easier that way.]

He watches Ryan wander off towards the kitchen, considering going to help but if he's just singing stuff up, then he can probably do all of that by himself. Troy will just carry on speaking anyway. "Hey, if you want, you can kind of stay here for as long as you want. I'm totally cool with that."

"Thanks, but no thanks. I've got my own apartment in the MAC that I'll probably stick around in until I find a new place."

But he does pause mid-mouthful at one point, when Ryan mentions his own apartment, and Troy's trying not to sound too disappointed at he replies with a simple, "Oh okay..." The kid is just lonely. It's his first time away from his parents, away from his girlfriend, and away from the Wildcat's who he used to have running around his house constantly. Sure college was going to be different, but he'd still have dorms and stuff. Not just... an apartment. On his own.
