look at that old man drink; they call him sir emo
WHO:
spacetimeprime &
notsoloyal ...and
theprimerprime at some point?
WHERE: A BAR CALLED STICKS.
WHEN: Friday night.
WARNINGS: A very very veryyyyy old former robot drinking. And a another former robot, not nearly as old, being a creeper.
SUMMARY: Vector Prime isemo drinking, Shockwave is taking advantage of this and goes to hang out with him so that he can learn more about him and his ancient ways.
FORMAT: Magical combinations of letters.
It was not long after getting the location to the bar that Shockwave arrived. Were it not for the fact that this was Vector Prime he would never have even entered the building. But the elder Cybertronian was interesting. With the information he had uncovered from experimenting on Alpha Trion in mind, the mere prospect of poking at another ancient Cybertronian was too good to pass up.
After all, he was not planning on drinking anything, so he would be fine. He certainly did not need to repeat the last incident. While alcohol was actually quite nice, the hangovers they caused along with the monologues they brought about in him, were not.
Quietly he made his way through the bar, taking note of how many people were in there, until he finally managed to spot his target.
"Vector."

"Destroy it? But every one of our kind is wired to it, it stores everything, and it controls Cybertron's very evolution. Why would anyone ever wish to destroy it?"

The tone said it all. Dark, not so much hateful as angry - angry that they would betray their own kind that way. That a Prime could forget what it meant to be one, that someone would be willingly be his herald...
...but for all that anger, even in his inebriated state he understood, on some level, why these happened. Nothing so much like 'because it needed to' or the 'will of the multiverse', but because, well...when you came down to it...
Even Primes...could Fall.
He ordered another drink.
and shockwave manages to make forgetting things difficult.
Unicron.
He had no idea if his universe even had a Unicron, and were it not for the seeker's memories, he would have no idea who the 'chaosbringer' was. Although the name was plenty indication that they were no good.
Order was preferable to chaos.
Thankfully the planet eater had never made an appearance in his world. Cybertron had been slowly evolving, but it would not have been able to handle that.
"Shame."
He wondered how many drinks Vector was on now. But he seemed to be okay. Well aside from the dislike he held for this subject. But Shockwave was not ready to change it just yet.
"What would have happened, had they succeeded in destroying it?" Not that he expected the Prime to know, but it would not hurt to ask.
vector doesn't mind bitching about unicron & co so it's cool
Mission successful.
He took a sip from the glass.

"Completely defenseless? How?"
He know what the super computer was capable of, what it held, and how important it was... But, for it to hold such an impact. Hm. He knew what he would study should he ever return home.
Should. Ha, amusing how that didn't bother him as much anymore.
Unfortunate.
"Would there be no hope?"
no subject
It was a precious gift, not easily denied, but...well, sometimes it wasn't enough. Sometimes you had to be able to act on that hope, and without Vector Sigma -
"But without Vector Sigma to hold the planet together, it would be a very slight hope indeed. Mind you," he added, "that's how it worked in that world. It varies from Cybertron to Cybertron, but you might have felt the effects nonetheless."
no subject
Such an effect, would have caused little hope indeed. He knew many who would have lost it completely were something to be so drastic. Not that he himself believed much in hope. An emotional concept.
"Vector Sigma is different in all universes then? Is the concept of it at least the same?"

"Interesting." was all he could really manage. There was quite a bit to think about in relation to all of this.
