look at that old man drink; they call him sir emo

WHO: [livejournal.com profile] spacetimeprime & [livejournal.com profile] notsoloyal ...and [livejournal.com profile] theprimerprime at some point?
WHERE: A BAR CALLED STICKS.
WHEN: Friday night.
WARNINGS: A very very veryyyyy old former robot drinking. And a another former robot, not nearly as old, being a creeper.
SUMMARY: Vector Prime is emo drinking, Shockwave is taking advantage of this and goes to hang out with him so that he can learn more about him and his ancient ways.
FORMAT: Magical combinations of letters.

It was not long after getting the location to the bar that Shockwave arrived. Were it not for the fact that this was Vector Prime he would never have even entered the building. But the elder Cybertronian was interesting. With the information he had uncovered from experimenting on Alpha Trion in mind, the mere prospect of poking at another ancient Cybertronian was too good to pass up.

After all, he was not planning on drinking anything, so he would be fine. He certainly did not need to repeat the last incident. While alcohol was actually quite nice, the hangovers they caused along with the monologues they brought about in him, were not.

Quietly he made his way through the bar, taking note of how many people were in there, until he finally managed to spot his target.

"Vector."

"They served the Chaosbringer."

The tone said it all. Dark, not so much hateful as angry - angry that they would betray their own kind that way. That a Prime could forget what it meant to be one, that someone would be willingly be his herald...

...but for all that anger, even in his inebriated state he understood, on some level, why these happened. Nothing so much like 'because it needed to' or the 'will of the multiverse', but because, well...when you came down to it...

Even Primes...could Fall.

He ordered another drink.

vector doesn't mind bitching about unicron & co so it's cool

The Prime himself had lost count to what number drink this was; he didn't much care at this point, either. "Disaster," he said bluntly. "Vector Sigma...without it, Cybertron would have been defenseless." He was still grateful to whatever Powers that were that the power of his Cyber Key had been enough to stop Ramjet, and that Sentinel Maximus had been able to stop Nemesis Prime with his new friends.

Mission successful.

He took a sip from the glass.

"There is...always hope."

It was a precious gift, not easily denied, but...well, sometimes it wasn't enough. Sometimes you had to be able to act on that hope, and without Vector Sigma -

"But without Vector Sigma to hold the planet together, it would be a very slight hope indeed. Mind you," he added, "that's how it worked in that world. It varies from Cybertron to Cybertron, but you might have felt the effects nonetheless."

"Mmn." That, and a nod, were enough to confirm the question - one, or all three. Or two. "It is more important than you can know," he said again, "but that's what you get, when you have a gestalt. Or a gestalt like that one," he added as an afterthought. "Most gestalts are just that."
