SUMMARY: Visit Momjeans in the hospital! Leave her flowers! Threatening notes! Rub it in her face that she got ridiculously concussed from just a simple metal sword hilt to the head! Sneak real food in! Fill her in on the stuff that's going down in the city!

[Maza's in her hospital room, grumpy, headache-y, and creeped out by the note on those flowers that got delivered to her room.]

[ And she just looks back, nonplussed. ]

Well, if you are here, I'm going to have to arrest you on spot. But if you're some bizarre figment of my imagination, there's nothing I can really do about that, is there?

[ He just tilts his head a little, looking her over noticeably, and at the hospital bed. ]

And just how were you planning to do that if you're on bed rest?

[ She scowls deeply. ] I'm lying down, not chained to the bed. [She immediately proceeds to get up but hey, dizziness after concussions can last and she wobbles a bit, but stays standing. ] See?

[ YEP WELL totally standing up out of his chair now to try and steady her (wow this is suddenly more awkward than he thought it would be) ]

You really shouldn't do that just yet.

[ This is... not good. Because she's torn right now between duty and friendship. And between falling or letting him help. Her head hurts. ]

Let go, I'm fine! Dammit, where are my cuffs?

[ No, no, no... We are not letting you do anything extrenuous right now and certainly not letting you try and stand on your own two feet. So he keeps his hands where they are, currently, which is on both her upper arms right now. Siiiigh this is not good. ]

You are not fine, and you are not overexerting yourself right now for any reason, including my arrest. [ And he takes the time to look at her pointedly. ] I'll make you if I have to, you know.

[ She just glaaares up at him. ]

What're you going to do, knock me out again?

[ Ouch. And she gets a glare right back, though he's going to hide the fact that that affected him more than he wanted it to. And good god why do they have to be standing so close right now-- ]

Do you feel like you can walk on your own? Really?

If the other option is letting you free, I'll skip over hot coals!

Answer the question, Maza-san. [ Nope, just as stubborn over here; not letting go either. ]

Yes, I can walk on my own. [But how well is a different matter.]

[ Saitou scrutinizes her for a few seconds, before gradually letting go of her and standing back expectantly. However he still stays within reach if she happens to fall again (which he's certain will happen soon) ] All right, let's see it.

[ She got a few steps before the dizziness picked up in full. Frustrating, but she was not going to let him get away because her body was failing on her. Not like she can do anything to arrest him. She's in a hospital gown and lacking anything to actually restrain him with, this is merely all an exercise in defiance. To her credit, she gets several steps before the nausea is too much and she stumbles.]

[ YEP HE DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO TAKE VERY LONG but that's all right he doesn't have super-human speed for nothing. She doesn't even stumble for two seconds before he's right there to help keep her balance. It takes some effort on his part, but somehow he manages to keep from letting an exasperated sigh loose. ]

[ Well okay maybe he deserved that, but even so. ]

No matter. My point has been made. You're in no condition to walk around right now and you know it.
