And I still suck at cut text.

WHO: Loki, Death
WHERE: Ambiguous European mountain tower.
WHEN: Sometime during the timeswitch.
WARNINGS: N/A
SUMMARY: Chatting!
FORMAT: Paragraph?

Loki took care to insure that nothing took him by surprise. So it was not such a shock to receive a letter from Death. Not the Death Loki knew, the Death of Hela's pact and bony hand. But it mattered not what one called it or how it appearedβ€” Death was, and that was enough. Loki had responded to the letter as politeness would dictate. Details like when and where were trivial, and Loki left those up to chance. But he signed his name in runes, for that was the closest paper could come to holding it.

At this moment, Loki is sitting in a small, cold room, preoccupying himself with books.

Death knows that this Loki will not be the Loki she's familiar with, but is more interested in discovering the similarities between the two, rather than the ways in which they differ. She allows a small measure of time to pass between receiving a letter in return and paying a visit, knowing that it won't seem like much of a wait for either of them, and dresses well for the occasion, though not formally.

Out of politeness, she doesn't appear across the threshold of the room he's currently in, and raps the back of her hand against the door.
