[OPEN]

WHO: Mytho and Open
WHERE: Central Park
WHEN: Friday
WARNINGS: Lack of sanity
SUMMARY: Mytho's world has started to crumble and the Raven's blood is slowly destroying him from the inside.
FORMAT: Paragraph.

For a brief time, Mytho felt that he finally knew what it was like to be happy. Spending time with the younger Rue, the return of the birds, it all soothed his heart to where he didn't feel the Raven's blood clawing at him for control any longer.

But it had all shattered... The Rue he cared so much about had been replaced with the Rue who was Kraehe, who had stained his heart and hurt him so deeply so many times, to be in the same room as he made the Raven's blood scream and claw at him until all he felt was fear and the need to make her feel the same pain that she had inflicted on him.

To have that small, illusionary happiness ripped away... to wake up next to that Rue where all he could see were black feathers as she soaked him deeper in the blood of the Raven...

To feel that blood rising with in him from where he had tried so hard to keep it buried...

He had run away, trying to find Tutu, even though she wasn't Tutu any longer, desperate for something to cling to before he was lost to the red that filled his eyes.

But she was gone.

And the small light with in him had vanished under the black feathers and deep red blood.

It had all been a blur afterwards as he wandered the City, not seeing, not feeling, barely existing.

Tutu was gone... Ahiru was gone... Rue was gone...

Absentmindedly, he scratched at his hand, eyes unfocused as he walked, birds flying away before him, feathers scattering and turning dark in his mind's eye.

He needed to find...

to find...

Kuwabara was still getting used to walking around, looking for little signs of trouble to stop and things to take care of. Predominately, he was looking out for crime, punk kids and purse-snatchers and low-life crap like that. However, something else grabbed his attention.

He didn't even really know why he'd headed to that huge park, maybe a feeling, and he'd learned to trust intuition. Regardless, he spotted that lurching, weird, light-haired kid, just... Wandering. Bizarrely.

He picked up his stride and caught up to the guy, voice as boisterous as ever. "Oi! You alright, there?"

[identity profile] stfurameshi.livejournal.com 2010-03-12 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Allllright, then. Kuwabara couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Yeah, he'd definitely not been wrong about the weird-factor that had drawn him here. Goody.

He continued his approach, letting out a slight huff but smiling as if he was oblivious all the same. Maybe the guy just needed some cheering up, after all. "What's up?"

[identity profile] stfurameshi.livejournal.com 2010-03-12 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
That just cued more doubtful expressions. This guy was probably just off his rocker. "Birds don't go near anybody, you know. Not usually. Instincts or whatever..."

[identity profile] stfurameshi.livejournal.com 2010-03-12 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Was that, like... Some kind of superpower? People got new powers when they came here, right? At that thought, Kuwabara couldn't help but turn up a somewhat mocking smirk. "Man. That's a really lame power."

[identity profile] stfurameshi.livejournal.com 2010-03-12 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, you know..." Kuwabara trailed off, only just realizing that maybe this guy wasn't somebody that the machine had brought in, but a local who was just, well, kinda crazy. "Never mind."

[identity profile] stfurameshi.livejournal.com 2010-03-12 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yeah. This was bogus. Never mind the never mind, this was either an imported person or, at least, somebody being affected by one. He almost missed the question, puzzling over that weird aura. Not that it would've made a difference, really, because it confused him. "Those are... Those frilly skirts, right?"

[identity profile] stfurameshi.livejournal.com 2010-03-12 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, I wouldn't really call that funny." Kuwabara didn't know whether to be sympathetic or a little creeped out. What was this, half psycho-rambling and half tragic love story? When he moved on from looking doubtful, he put on a concerned frown, reaching up to scratch the back of his head. "I'm sure she had her reasons, anyway. I mean... Why else hold something like that back, huh?"

Sanji still hadn't received word from Fakir that his pale friend had been found, so he continued to keep an eye out as he traversed the city on his errands before work. Spring was in the air and nobody hassled him about smoking when he walked, two good reasons to take a detour past the big park just in case the fluffball had finally come back to his usual haunt.

In fact, that hairstyle over there looked awfully familiar...
notadartboard: (ding ding alert)

....creepy

[personal profile] notadartboard 2010-03-12 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that didn't look good. Sanji turned down the path to intersect with the kid, keeping his hands non-threateningly in his pockets. "Oi," he called out, keeping his tone even. "....uh. Mytho?" Yeah, that was the name.

At least Sanji was used to strange things. It was enough for him to tell the kid wasn't all right. "Hey. You probably don't remember me," he murmured, exhaling a long, smoky sigh. "But Fakir sent me out looking for you."
notadartboard: (dot dot dot)

[personal profile] notadartboard 2010-03-12 11:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah." Sanji held still and studied the kid for a minute, not liking his demeanor. Granted, the only experience he had with Mytho was seeing him trapped and then enraged in the fight in the warehouse, but he knew "off" when saw it. "He'll be relieved to know someone found you. It's been a couple days."
notadartboard: (wait what)

[personal profile] notadartboard 2010-03-12 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Sanji eyed the crows suspiciously. Damn birds again. "Then maybe, uh...I should call Fakir. He'll come, I'm sure." He began to draw one hand from his pocket, bringing out his comm with it.
notadartboard: (bwaaaaaahhh?)

[personal profile] notadartboard 2010-03-12 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Sanji blinked, startled. "What was that?" he breathed. "...what kind of a thing is that to say about the guy who busted into an impossible situation to rescue you...?"
