Delirium was wandering.

It was something of a constant state for her these days, so much so that she had developed something of her own "patrol area".  The only real problem was that sometimes (or most of the time) she forgot where it was and just sort of walked and walked and walked until she found the right door.  The door was really the most important thing.

It was all about finding the right one and having the keys to open it.  Delirium had the keys to the City and when she couldn't find them, she simply made her own door.  Of course, she was always very good about closing them afterwards.

It wouldn't be polite to leave a door hanging open in someone's laundry room after all.

"Oh yes, many, many things!" The Major said cheerfully, not minding at all that she was seeing his most secret plans. He could trust her- after all, she was a part of himself. "It will be like an amazing fireworks display, one of the biggest the world has ever seen!"

Delirium was unexpectedly good about keeping certain things secret. Much like when she had remembered the Major in her own way when he first arrived and kept the secret about the big rallies with the loud speeches, she knew when secrets ought to be kept. And besides that...

"That sounds really lovely!" she said, mirroring his cheerfulness with a slightly cracked version of her own. "I'll like that, but... um... I'll go and hide when people start screaming. I don't like that part as much..."

"Yes, do that!" The Major nodded. "I wouldn't want you to be hurt at all, of course." He paused as a thought struck him. "You do not imagine that your sister will mind the extra work, do you?"

"I don't really get hurt by those sorts of things... I get lost sometimes when it gets really loud and then all the people start screaming and rushing around..." Her voice trails off and whatever memory she was living in at that moment changes back to the present.

"I don't know... I don't think so. She's always really busy anyway and I don't think anyone ever dies who isn't supposed to. Destiny says things like that."

"Good, good." He smiled. "I would hate to inconvenience either of you. I know that you are both quite fond of many in this City, and I don't think most of those people are going to be very happy after this."
