SUMMARY: Warren pops by for a visit and Scatty's due for a feeding. Since he offered to help out with that a few weeks back, he stays true to his word and lets her eat him. His emotions, I mean.
FORMAT: Quickie

[Warren's out of the office today for errands and other such things, and stops by Scatty's dojo to say 'hi!' when he begins feeling extra restless about work. He's been non-stop the past few weeks, and feels the need to socialize or burn some energy. Something. So he ends up here, and looks around for her.]

Scathach? You here?

[And then it's over, and her eyes are fading back to their natural green. She looks healthier--her skin is slightly colored, her pupils aren't as thin. She leans forward a bit, ready to catch him if he falls over.]

Death always has seemed rather dramatic in all the myths and legends.

[He sways a little, and shakes his head to snap himself out of it.]

That's what War said. I think I'm the only person that doesn't think I'm overdramatic though.

[laughs a little lazily.]

[Hand on his shoulder to keep him up. They probably should have done this upstairs so he could have laid on the couch. Oops. Might have to fix that.]

I don't think you're terribly overdramatic. [Pause.] Would you mind if I picked you up? You look as if you need to lie down.

It's a good thing you haven't seen me on a bad day then...

[he blinks a few more times before his eyes focus on her. Then he nods, still swaying a little.]

Just don't say a word about how light and scrawny I am. I like to pretend I'm as big as I look.

[No fat + hollow bones makes him as light as a woman, basically]

[Smiles a bit.] Not a word.

[And she stands, leaning down to loop one arm beneath his knees and the other around his back. Upsie-daisy! Oh, God, he is so light. Must not make fun.] This does seem a bit backwards though, hm?

It's...awkward...

[he chuckles lazily once again and rubs a hand over his face tiredly.]

How long does this last usually?

[Starts up the stairs, being careful not to smack him against the walls.]

A few hours, at most. [Reassuringly:] It isn't permanent.

Ah good. Maybe I need a nap or something.

[Yawning now]

But...it helped you, yeah?

A nap would do you some good.

[Small smile. Pushes open the door at the top of the flight with her foot and takes him over to the couch. Btw she is like 5'5", so I'm sure her carrying him would look very, very awkward.]

It did, very much. And I thank you for that. [Sets him down oh so gently. Maternal instincts are a go.]

[He appreciates that gentleness so much, even if he'll never admit it! Once he's set down, his body relaxes and he sprawls across the couch.]

Glad I could be of service, Scatty. I wish I could say it's been a blast...but I think I'm ready to pass out now...

[When was the last time somebody passed out on her couch. Probably the last time Josh was up late. Smiles a bit.]

You do that. I'll have something to eat waiting when you wake up.

Good. I love food.

[He mumbles this incoherently before taking a snooze. Not that he'd be long, mind you, but he's so emo that's it's just tiring to miss some emotions! He appreciates it though, and is happy she's okay.]

[She just watches him for a minute or two and then smiles a bit. Heads to the kitchen to make something probably made of mostly fruits and vegetables. She has no meat in her fridge sob. Also, will be grateful to him forever.]
