And I can guide a missile by satellite
WHO: The Major and everyone who signed up to fight in the City.
WHERE: Locations across the City.
WHEN: 11 PM Friday evening.
WARNINGS: So. Much. Violence.
SUMMARY: Operation Gotterdammerung has begun, and with it Case Schwarze: a full air and ground assault against the ImPort community designed to prevent interference with the nuke in Washington. Missiles and vampires ahoy!
FORMAT: Whatever works.
NOTES: Don't forget to add your characters' tags as they join in!
Leaning back in his chair, occasionally taking the time to dictate a response to his post on the communicator, the Major watched happily as his master plan at last unfolded. It was all worth it, he could already tell. The months of planning, the prison takeover, the theft of the bomb, the kidnapping of the Detective, all the promises he’d made to his new comrades, it was all coming together right here in front of him, in the fire and explosions of detonating missiles and attacking vampires. It was the fulfillment of his most cherished dream: a war beyond any man’s history had ever known. Reports from his crew filtered in from all around him:
”Rot Team reports that they are in position Major. Package is secure.”
”Schwarze One reports commencing attack on police station.”
”Missile hit! Confirmed hit on Turing nightclub!”
”Schwarze Five, commencing assault on the Spark Roast.”
”Confirmed missile hits on both prisons!”
He sat and listened and smiled and watched. In less than an hour the device would detonate, and America’s capital would be swallowed up in a mushroom cloud. There would have to be retaliation, retaliation greater than that after Pearl Harbor, retaliation not just at those responsible but also at those who had let it happen because they were too busy looking after their own homes. There would be war, first native against ImPort, but then as things fell apart ImPort against ImPort, native against native, war between teams, countries, movements, alliances! War upon war upon war!
“It has begun,” the Major said to himself, watching the chaos unfold on the array of screens hanging from the ceiling in front of his seat, as well as through the DEM II’s vast observation window. “The dance that cannot end! The symphony I can revel in for all time! The fire that shall never burn out!”
Below, the prelude to that symphony continued.

With Pantalaimon snarling, she sent one of the remaining vampires crashing into some of the others.

Her arrival was announced by several very large stone blocks simply rolling over some of the remaining attackers, and her shout of rage.

He was feeling a bit of the fatigue from using Kira already, but nothing too bad, and as one got too close to him, he quickly swung around to kick it, sending it flying out of one of the windows.
[Sorry I'm late again...]
Sticky Web! Wormmon called out as he spun a large web of silk curling, wrapping up a number of the vampires.
Ken had been meditating in his former home behind the toyshop and like Toph was late to scene. He slowly gave a nod, smiling towards his teammates before his eyes lit up, a blue energy shining as he used his powers launching a few of the newly webbed up vampires into the air with great force.
derp derp not paying attention sorry guys
If he was good at anything, it was gauging the right moment for a show-stopping blow.

She had also gotten rather spattered with blood from Yoite's attacks, although she didn't really notice as she sent more shards of broken glass into the attackers faces.

"Lyra! Everyone! Are you okay in there?"

Another vampire was quickly torn to shreds by his Kira as he made a light twitching motion with his fingers, tearing off its arms, legs and head, eyes narrowing a little. Despite his wish to be gone from any world, for the moment, this was his home, and he certainly wasn't happy about it being attacked. Plus his nap had been disturbed, so he wasn't in such a good mood to begin with.

"Keep pushing..." he said raising his voice. "If we keep this up we can finish this...."

Lyra grimaced, and staggered as vampire lunged at her and was knocked back, his head rather messily disconnected from his body.
"Give up!" she shouted to the vampires that were still alive. They were people, not animals after all. Surely they'd realized they were losing? She wasn't going to let them escape, but taking them prisoner would be perfectly fine.

And she had absolutely no problem smashing them to pieces.

Even though his coughing though, once the vampire was over him, he pointed up, right at the thing's skull, making it swell up into the size of a balloon and explode. It left him covered in blood, but he wasn't too worried about that.

He frowned as he felt a feeling in the pit of his stomach not unlike when he had cut loose against the zombies as he focused his power on one specific part of the nearest vampire. Pressing and crushing against it's chest until he heard an audible *CRUNCH* sound.
Wormmon briefly raised his warms looking away from the horrific sight.

In the heat of battle, he didn't speak at all; his attention was all on utilizing his PSI successfully.

Pantalaimon's fur was soaked in blood, and some of it had spattered over Lyra's face. Morbidly, Lyra remembered her days playing in Oxford, when she and her friends were coated in mud instead of viscera
"Damn it! How many more of them are there!" she shouted.

The small blind girl was liberally splattered with blood, mud, and worse things, but she didn't care. Fighting her way to the front door of the house, she yanked the door open.
"Hey, you guys!"

He slowly turned the corner in time to see Toph reaching the front door as he smiled weakly. "Konichiwa."
