WHO: Pokey Minch and Terry McGinnis, with Hit-Girl possibly stopping by
WHERE: Pokey's lab/safehouse
WHEN: Wednesday night at 10
WARNINGS: None, really
SUMMARY: Pokey's been making crap for Terry. Terry's coming to pick it up.
FORMAT: Whatever you want.
Pokey sat on a small crate he had set outside the door to his little hideaway, filled with the batarangs he had made for Batman. He smiled a little to himself as he looked up at the sky, looking at the lights of the city at night. It was a...good feeling to have someone trust him, and he wasn't used to it. In a way, it was almost addicting.
He felt that he'd probably really enjoy the feeling even more as he got accustomed to it.

He frowned a little as he thought. "It shouldn't be effected by an EMP, but I can't make guarantees since I don't even know for sure if what caused the black out was an EMP, or what it was. So I can't promise resistance if its a different source altogether."
Pokey ignored the request to watch his language. He himself didn't think he needed to worry about it, but if the guy didn't want him to swear in front of him, hey; no skin off his nose. He smiled, however, as Terry tested the batarangs out, clearly pleased with himself. "Didn't notice the ears before, but I can make 'em in the next batch if you really want 'em."
He blew a raspberry at being called a twip again. "Glad you like it, jerkface." Smirking triumphantly, he asked, "Yeah? What did you expect then?"

"I'd... heard that, yes," Terry said when Pokey mentioned the comics thing, and kept himself from pulling a face at the idea. Comic books were just so... oh, he didn't know. What mattered in the end, though, was that he was real somewhere. So at least there was that.
"Mm." Well he was hoping that there wouldn't be another blackout anyway, but he didn't want to be caught off-guard. Not any more than he could help - if he could figure out a way to safeguard the suit in general from anything of the kind he'd be happy. Until then....
He absently pulled out one of his batarangs and gave it to Pokey. "There, have a closer look. Not quite sure what I expected, to be honest." The batarang was lightweight and compact and the alloy it was made of was rather peculiar - it was part of how they were so easily stored, the suit could morph things into being particular ways.... Terry didn't know the exact details of everything, Bruce had picked up the technology a while ago and never explained it in full. If it could be explained in full, the entire process was pretty strange.
He was starting to wonder if he should ask the kid to hook explosives up to a few of them.

Pokey took the batarang and rolled it over in one of his hands, taking one of the ones he had made in his own to test the difference. He stood there in silence for a moment, comparing the two of them. "I wasn't too far off the mark, but mine are a bit heavier, so the balance is probably a bit off compared to what you're used to. Give me a bit of time and I can make the next batch at the exact weight. You wouldn't happen to know what they're made out of, would you?"
Taking a brief glance at Terry as he stood puzzling whether or not to ask for modifications, Pokey tilted his head and asked, "Anything else you want, Batman?"
