welcome to the zoo
WHO: The 'Waves and their pets.
WHERE: Wave House.
WHEN: Before Soundwave meets up with Trowa.
WARNINGS: Too many animals crammed into one home.
SUMMARY: Soundwave owns too many animals, and Shockwave has too many test subjects. Animals can be troublesome. Shenanigans happen. The pets get screen time. Grimlock chews on everything. The panther gets glared at. Fur and feathers are everywhere.
FORMAT: Quickness.
[It was Grimlock's feeding time, the only animal test subject of Shockwave's to be on a strict feeding schedule. And the only one to live at home rather than in the lab. The iguana was obviously the most important subject of the scientist's, and the most privileged. Shockwave was certain that it took advantage of that, but experiments kept him busy, helped him gain knowledge. It was part of him, he was good at it, and it was logical. So he puts up with the reptile.
He sometimes wonders how, between Soundwave and himself, they've accumulated so many animals. An iguana, a panther, two cats, a frog, four ducks, and five weasels - who were currently visiting from the laboratory. Insects not included.
Amazing they weren't all trying to eat each other.
Like clockwork Shockwave fills up Grimlock's bowl in the kitchen, looking around to see if he spots the lizard. He has to go place the bowl in its cage, and it's rare that Grimlock ever lounges in there. He shrugs slightly not spotting him and makes his way to Soundwave's and his room. He'll have to find Grimlock and bring him to his food bowl as usual.
The scientist doesn't quite make it to the door however, as the five weasels go darting past his legs, causing him to stumble and trip over the poor sleeping panther. Spilling Grimlock's food and stepping on one of the passing-by kitten's tails. Gaining both a hiss from the panther and a screech from the cat.
So. Many. Animals.]
Grimlock! Are you chewing on cage doors again?!
[Those weasels were supposed to be locked up.]

...
[Soundwave shuts the door behind himself. He's supposed to be getting prepped for that meeting later...]
THIS WILL NOT WORK.
[He sighs and approaches Shockwave, silently offering his help as he crouches down to pick up Grimlock's food.]
[They're going to need to do something about all these animals. It's... difficult, though. He can't get rid of the ducks that easily. They were Skyfire's. And the panther was from Trowa. The cats...]
[Hn. Just that annoying sentiment lingering in his spark. This fragging body has caused him so many problems.]
no subject
[Shockwave brushes himself off before pushing Soundwave's hands away. He sees no reason for the communications officer to trouble himself with helping clean up Grimlock's food. He can do so himself, and it was not Soundwave's fault it spilt in the first place.]
no subject
[There is no argument made; Soundwave just shrugs and pulls his hands away at the insistence. Very well then.]
no subject
[Grimlock's food is cleaned up, and the bowl placed neatly upright on the floor, as Shockwave walks off shortly returning with a damp paper towel to wipe up the floor. It wasn't spotless anymore. Unacceptable.]
no subject
HOWEVER. I CHOOSE NOT TO.
[Which might be unwise. It would probably be best to give away some of his own, but he's already had to drive off Ravage and others for their safety.]

Such as?

OR GIVE AWAY THE FELINES.
[...No, he can't really give away the ducks. Their instincts pretty much say that this is their home and Soundwave is their new... guardian or something. And he can't really betray Skyfire's wishes, either. He was one of the few people Soundwave got close to calling a friend.]

I am not asking you to remove any of your pets, Soundwave.
[Walks back into the room, being careful not to crash into any other four legged creature.]
