Hiei let himself into Yusuke's apartment, raring for a fight as always. And this time, for once, he had checked to make sure the other demon was home before he came bursting in.

He wandered through the apartment, intent on finding Yusuke and dragging him out for a good old-fashioned brawl.

[Hiei would be highly offended if he heard Yusuke blaming a loss on being off his game, but that's neither here nor there. The important part of this next attack (a magnificent punch to the jaw, in fact) is the bit where Hiei starts to glow in a very not-spirit-energy kind of way and disappears right before it connects.

His communicator does clatter to the ground, though, so there's that.]
