WHO: Dick (Robin) and OPEN to people at the Tower.
WHERE: Titans Tower.
WHEN: Backdated to last week? GO WITH THE FLOW! There is no timeline.
WARNINGS: None.
SUMMARY: Dick was poisoned. He only spends time at the Tower for sad reasons.
FORMAT: Quicklog.
[He hadn't really been able to complain when Tim had dragged him to the Tower because he wasn't entirely there, yet.
His mind is back, now, and he feels both completely stupid and useless, and just plain annoyed that he told Tim he'd be staying there until there were no traces of toxin in his blood anymore.
He hadn't planned on really listening, but he'd tried standing up and fleeing subtly not that long ago, and he'd nearly fallen because of the wave of dizziness that had attacked him. He hadn't told Tim -- although this is the infirmary and there are probably cameras -- and he'd silently agreed to really stay in bed for at least a day. And then they'd see.
He really hates staying still and having someone else take care of him.]
(OOC: You can have your char know Dick is there because Tim told them, or have it be a surprise for them, either way work :>)

He'd probably argue that he was just sleeping and that Wally could have woken him up, whether that's true or not. Just hearing Wally saying things like 'don't scare us' makes Dick frown a bit. As if he could stop scaring people.
It's not that he doesn't get it, he does. He's also really glad that Wally doesn't get hurt nearly as often as Dick does.]
Heh, I try. I don't see you trying to not get scared, too. [He shifts on the side so Wally has enough space to settle.] So d'you have anything planned to cure the boredom at all?
no subject
You know what I mean. [He gives Dick a gentle flick to the forehead in admonishment, careful not to put any real force behind it.]
Now let's see here. [He disappears for a second and then he's back, the only way to tell he ever moved is how he's suddenly wearing glasses now. He slides them to the bridge of his nose in an attempt to look professional as he pretends he's looking at a clipboard.]
Food is a good cure. It'll also help you get your strength back. [He lowers the imaginary clipboard, pushing the glasses back up and looking back at Dick.] Are you hungry?
no subject
Dick lets out a small laugh when he sees them. It actually fits Wally's face pretty well, as does the fake-serious expression he tries to put on to go with the accessory.]
I'm not always hungry like you. [A grin.] But I sort of am right now.
[He pauses and looks at Wally as something crosses his mind.] Wait wait -- did you make me food? [A wink to a conversation they had not that long ago.]
no subject
Okay good, everybody is bound to get hungry sometimes. [He's about to hop off the bed but stays put when Dick asks a question.]
Well, I wasn't sure if you'd want to eat something so I haven't yet. [A beat.] Although I did make Italian sandwiches yesterday that I put in the fridge but I could always make you something else. Or get it for you.
no subject
The sandwich sounds great. Unless you had any other idea about what you wanted to bring me.
A sandwich only sounds nearly healthy. Since when do you eat healthy, anyway? There's something missing, here.
no subject
I don't know, I could try pancakes? Whichever you want. [Smoothing his hair back as he talks.]
And hey, I resent that. I eat all kinds of food, not just junk food.

Tim likes charts. Suddenly, he remembers the dating chart Tim has, somewhere. He sort of wants to see see it, but really doesn't at the same time. He's going to stick to 'really doesn't'.
The pancakes don't sound bad, but they also mean Wally won't be staying here.]
I'll take the sandwich. It's gonna take you time to make pancakes. It'd go against the point of trying to defeat the boredom if you leave for half an hour.
no subject
What, can't amuse yourself for thirty more minutes? [Not that he's one to talk.]
But okay, Italian sandwich it is. [He rights his glasses again and the next bit he says in a horribly mimicked British accent.] Would you like anything to drink with that, sir?
no subject
I don't mind. Surprise me.
no subject
Alright. [He'll be gone for a moment and then come back with a plate of Italian sandwiches and two glasses of milk. Since they're being healthy and all.]
no subject
He moves a bit and pushes the covers away so he can sit more comfortably, crossing his legs and putting the plate in front of him.
He's the sick one, he gets to have the sandwiches closer to him. Wally can stretch.]
Somehow, I hadn't thought you were gonna get yourself a sandwich, too. Guess I don't know you well enough, yet.
no subject
He's not going to complain about Dick keeping the plate closer to him. They're more meant for him anyway.]
A meal always tastes better shared, [he shrugs. That and he's not one to pass up food when it's right there in front him but that's something he's mentioned before.] Unless you want to eat all of that by yourself. [Four sandwiches seem a bit much for Dick alone but he could be wrong.]
no subject
[He takes one of the sandwiches.] But I won't for obvious reasons.
Grab some. I'm not that hungry, no. [He smiles.] Thanks. [And that's all he'll say before he starts munching on the sandwich.]
no subject
[And trying to imagine Dick being creepy makes him think of a Dick that was creepy. It's not a good thought and he'll stop thinking about it and distract himself with food.]
You're welcome. [He smiles back and grabs himself a sandwich.]
no subject
Makes me think of some sort of zombie. You know 'braaaain braaaaaain' but sandwiches instead.
Or Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, but that's creepy.
no subject
Now zombies he can get behind and the mental image makes him snort. The next reference he doesn't get, however.]
Lord of the Rings?
no subject
Way in the past when there were no DVDs, he's not sure there were VHS, and Lord of the Rings had no movie. It's really old so the books probably existed, but they're bricks and who reads these, really.
(Okay, Tim very probably read them but it doesn't count.)]
Geez, I keep forgetting you're not from now. It's -- well, I've only watched the first movie. It's some fantasy epic; magic and swords and monsters. People say it's a classic. The movies are really long. [And it shows by his tone of voice that they're really long and not captivating enough to keep Dick seated for that period of time. But that's Dick. Maybe Wally would like them, who knows.]
Anyway, there's a creepy character in there who's all obsessed by a ring.
no subject
Then again all movies here are kind of a novelty to me. [He may be used to it all by now but the technology will probably never stop impressing him.]
So, why is he obsessed with a ring?
no subject
He takes a few bites of his sandwich and lets crumbs fall on the bed by accident, that he simply swipes off so they fall on the ground when he sees them.]
Everyone is obsessed by the ring in the movie -- it's sort of the whole idea. It's magical and super powerful and everyone wants it while the group of good guys is trying to get rid of it.
