Elfs need loving. ;_;

WHO: Toph and Liadrin. And anyone else who might be at the Elfhaus (Koltira, I'm looking at you. B|).
WHERE: Elfhaus
WHEN: Saturday afternoon
WARNINGS: Cuteness? Or something? Ffff idk
SUMMARY: Toph swings by the Elfhaus to see if anyone's still there. She misses the bloofs!
FORMAT: Quick, para, something.

Toph made her way to Liadrin and Koltira's house, rather lost in thought. She hadn't "seen" either of the blood elves in a long time; it made her wonder what they'd been up to, or if they'd been 'Ported out. That Sanji guy had said they hadn't, but she still wondered.

It wasn't like them to be so quiet for so long.

Standing outside, she hesitated at the sidewalk. There were the statues she'd made for Liadrin to make the place prettier. Some of her best work in the City. It was hard, all of a sudden, to approach the house. What if they didn't want to see her?

Well, she wouldn't be much of an Earthbender if she didn't face those fears. Bah, she laughed in the face of fear. No really. She laughed, literally. Out loud.

And tramped up the stairs to knock on the door.

Liadrin had been in hiding for the most part of the month. Not because she was afraid, but more that she knew how much Koltira needed her there.

Then again, there was that and the fact that she'd been keeping the Lich in her basement. Yeah, that went over well. A woman claiming to serve justice falling back into her old habits. She pulled the door open, shocked beyond belief to see Toph there, "Blessed Ancestors...it's been so long." she murmured.

"Who is it?" Koltira called as he walked down the hall toward the open door, toward the shaft of light spilling across the threshold. Liadrin seemed frozen in the entrance; her fingers clutched the doorknob in surprise. He came up behind the paladin and saw Toph standing there. The girl's expression startled him, though he supposed it should come as no surprise--he and Liadrin had essentially hidden away in their home for the past few weeks, nursing their own physical and psychic injuries. "Toph. Ah. Hello."

"I didn't expect to see her here, you know. Not after all that transpired." The elf shook her head, ruby locks falling over one eye as she stepped to the side. "Come in and sit down. Please."

It was almost as if years had passed since they'd last spoken, though in truth it was obviously much less. She felt more a witness to what was happening than a participant, as if she was simply watching a performance. She glanced over at Koltira with a look that she hoped conveyed just how little she could think of to say, and not out of a lack of caring, but rather shame for what she'd done.

Koltira was about to reach for Liadrin when Toph jumped the red-headed elf. He chuckled. "It's just been a difficult time, Toph."
