Kiryu looked over after a good moment of silence; he'd figured Saitou would have to think about it, since he was so much less prone to hating people, but he didn't think it would take too long. He hadn't thought it would upset him too much, since it was hard to really upset him.

But he'd spent enough time with Saitou to read those expressions. He didn't really even need to know Saitou well to read them. And he had to smile a little when Saitou shook his head, even though he didn't look like he should be saying no.

"Of course not. You're too good for that..." Although he wondered vaguely what Saitou did hate so much, if it wasn't Cavil. "You probably don't know what o do, then..."
