Log; Ongoing

WHO: Eli and Wanda
WHERE: the MAC, then some shopping place
WHEN: Backdated to Wednesday
SUMMARY: Wanda is going to help Eli shop because he is a fashion nightmare. Or at least fashion unpleasant dream.
WARNINGS: Nothing, really.
FORMAT: quick to the point to the point no faking

[Eli was kind of nervous about going shopping with Wanda, but he tried not to let it show. It was just not the sort of thing he did. Ever. Except maybe with his mom or something, and his mom never really criticized his fashion choices. Still, he had fun with Wanda and was looking forward to that part of it.

Which was why he was on time at the ground floor of the MAC to meet with Wanda, smiling when he saw her.]

Hey there!

[She glanced back at him, raising her eyebrows.]

I don't see what's not to like, really.

Well.

[She slowed, not looking at him.]

Well, no.

[identity profile] stillawitch.livejournal.com 2010-06-11 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
[She gawked right back.]

Why would I lie about that?

[identity profile] stillawitch.livejournal.com 2010-06-11 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
[Wanda snorted delicately, then turned -- the exit was approaching! Over her shoulder, she addressed the attendant.]

Would you mind passing those off to the bellman, dear?

[She paused, blinking at him.]

We are. I meant the bellman here.

...I suppose we could, but there's no doorman at the MAC to receive them. It doesn't seem very safe.

[She led the way through the front door, not pausing until they reached the sidewalk, where a uniformed man was already rushing to flag down a taxi for them.]

[Wanda laughed, casually reaching over to snag the receipts peeking from the top of one of the bags as they changed hands.]

Are you starting to understand why I prefer shopping here?

[identity profile] stillawitch.livejournal.com 2010-06-11 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I made you come out here -- it's the least I could do. [Wanda grinned.] Besides, I'm the one who's going to be looking at you. Think of it as an investment in our acquaintance.

[She turned back towards the cab, eyes narrowing as she noticed something scrawled on one of the receipts.]

[identity profile] stillawitch.livejournal.com 2010-06-11 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[She crumpled the receipt, scowling back towards the doors at the saleswoman's hastily retreating figure.]

Nothing.

[This time, she didn't answer, instead ducking to slide into the cab.]

[Wanda blinked, then grinned when she recognized the driver as the one who'd brought them here.]

I thought we might be seeing you again.

[Wanda sighed and gave him a look -- silly peasant, don't you know to over-tip the help?]

[identity profile] stillawitch.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that's why I said might.
