SUMMARY: Wanda is going to help Eli shop because he is a fashion nightmare. Or at least fashion unpleasant dream.

[Eli was kind of nervous about going shopping with Wanda, but he tried not to let it show. It was just not the sort of thing he did. Ever. Except maybe with his mom or something, and his mom never really criticized his fashion choices. Still, he had fun with Wanda and was looking forward to that part of it.

Which was why he was on time at the ground floor of the MAC to meet with Wanda, smiling when he saw her.]

[Eli's grin got a bit wider as she smiled back. He was always sure she looked as beautiful as she could and then she smiled and proved him wrong.]

Nope, just got here. But I'm ready to go if you are.

[She nods, shifting her purse on her shoulder as she stops in front of him.]

Absolutely. Is there anywhere you wanted to go, or am I our sole guide for the afternoon?

I can take you where I normally shop? But that's what got me into trouble in the first place, isn't it?

[Wanda manages not to actually laugh, but it's a close call.]

[She pauses, considering, and then glances at the street outside.]

Are you any good at hailing taxis?

[Eli gently maneuvered Wanda to the curb and then raised his arm.]

Hey, taxi!

[Sure enough, a moment later one pulled up.]

[Amused, she approached the taxi, tugging the door open and sliding inside to settle behind the driver and address him with careful pronunciation.]

Bloomingdale's, please, if you don't mind?

[Eli tried not to wince at the name of where they were going. Bloomingdales was expensive and he had a video game habit to support.]
