SUMMARY: Wanda is going to help Eli shop because he is a fashion nightmare. Or at least fashion unpleasant dream.

[Eli was kind of nervous about going shopping with Wanda, but he tried not to let it show. It was just not the sort of thing he did. Ever. Except maybe with his mom or something, and his mom never really criticized his fashion choices. Still, he had fun with Wanda and was looking forward to that part of it.

Which was why he was on time at the ground floor of the MAC to meet with Wanda, smiling when he saw her.]

[Eli just stared at her for a moment, his brain not quite working for a moment.]

Wanda, you could pull off one of their shopping bags. You look gorgeous.

[She tossed him a pleased little grin before returning her attention to the mirror, lips pursed as she appraised her reflection. Then she lifted one hand to the drawstring at her chest and tugged it open gently, allowing the romper to drop to the floor and reveal the swimsuit (http://www2.victoriassecret.com/images/prodlgvw/V295452.jpg) beneath. Eyes still locked thoughtfully on the mirror, she half-turned towards Eli.]

[Eli couldn't reply at the moment, he was too busy staring at her while trying to look like he wasn't staring at her.]

[His tone brought her gaze swinging back to him, an odd little smile tugging at her lips.]

[Eli realized that he was staring and flushed a bit and looked away.]

Yeah, it's so.

[Her smile widened slowly.]

I suppose I'll keep that in mind, then.

[Still so very slowly, she bent to retrieve her fallen romper.]

[Eli, being the gentleman that he is, actually averts his eyes. Dear god he wants to stare though. So bad.]

[Straightening with a little sigh, she drapes the romper over her shoulder and saunters back into the dressing room.. room.]

[Eli glanced around a bit when she left.]

This is- this is real, right? This is really happening?

[From the corner, the same tactless saleswoman from before offered him a strained smile and asked if he would be interested in any refreshments.]

[Once again, Eli is starring. A lot. Because she looks absolutely amazing in that. This time he gets two words out.]

[She grins, reaching the mirror and stretching her arms over her head to see how the suit moves with her.]

[Eli notices that the suit moves very, very well with her.]

[Wanda laughs, tossing her head to clear her hair of her shoulders before turning back to Eli.]

My, but you're a veritable wellspring of useful opinions. I should take you on all of my shopping trips!

[Eli threw his hands up in defense.]

[She grins again.]

Maybe I'll just keep you around for bad hair days. Do you come in pocket-size, so I can have one in my purse for emergencies?

[Eli flushes a bit again.]

[She turns on her heel, slinking back into the changing rooms.]

[Still in the corner, the attendant fidgets audibly.]

[Eli is just shaking his head.]

This is so surreal.

[A pause.]
