SUMMARY: Wanda is going to help Eli shop because he is a fashion nightmare. Or at least fashion unpleasant dream.
WARNINGS: Nothing, really.

[Eli was kind of nervous about going shopping with Wanda, but he tried not to let it show. It was just not the sort of thing he did. Ever. Except maybe with his mom or something, and his mom never really criticized his fashion choices. Still, he had fun with Wanda and was looking forward to that part of it.

Which was why he was on time at the ground floor of the MAC to meet with Wanda, smiling when he saw her.]

[Eli glanced around a bit when she left.]

This is- this is real, right? This is really happening?

[From the corner, the same tactless saleswoman from before offered him a strained smile and asked if he would be interested in any refreshments.]

[Once again, Eli is starring. A lot. Because she looks absolutely amazing in that. This time he gets two words out.]

[She grins, reaching the mirror and stretching her arms over her head to see how the suit moves with her.]

Is this one better or worse than the last, then?

[Eli notices that the suit moves very, very well with her.]

Uhhhh, yes?

[Wanda laughs, tossing her head to clear her hair of her shoulders before turning back to Eli.]

My, but you're a veritable wellspring of useful opinions. I should take you on all of my shopping trips!

[Eli threw his hands up in defense.]

It's not my fault you look great in everything.

[She grins again.]

Maybe I'll just keep you around for bad hair days. Do you come in pocket-size, so I can have one in my purse for emergencies?

[Eli flushes a bit again.]

[She turns on her heel, slinking back into the changing rooms.]

[Still in the corner, the attendant fidgets audibly.]

[Eli is just shaking his head.]

This is so surreal.

[And he's getting a vaguely skeptical look.]

You're sure you two aren't..?

[Eli gave her a look.]

I'm pretty sure I would know if we were.

[A pause.]

[Eli gave a confused look for a moment until Wanda came out.]

Wanda, can you explain to this lady we're not-

[She smiles at him, eyes sparkling mischievously.]

You like this one? Red is my favorite color.

[Eli nodded slowly.]

[Her smile widens, and she takes a moment to inspect her reflection, back arching absentmindedly.]

[Eli bites his lip to stifle a moan.]

[Wanda doesn't seem to notice, and tosses him another vague smile before heading back into the dressing rooms.]

[Eli squirms and crosses and uncrosses his legs uncomfortably as he waits.]

[Utter silence from the attendant's corner.]

[Eli coughs.]

I mean, I like that one best.

[She lifts her eyebrows at him.]

Really? But it.. I'm not entirely sure it'll stay on!

[She gestures vaguely at her chest, and it's true; the suit was clearly made for a much more flat-chested woman. Concerned, she turns to the mirror, twisting hesitantly.]

[Eli wasn't sure it would either, which was part of the appeal, he supposed.]

It'll be fine. Why don't you just get all the swimsuits. I mean, it would be a shame if you didn't. Think of the poor swimsuits and how they know they'll never look as good on anybody else.
