SUMMARY: Wanda is going to help Eli shop because he is a fashion nightmare. Or at least fashion unpleasant dream.

[Eli was kind of nervous about going shopping with Wanda, but he tried not to let it show. It was just not the sort of thing he did. Ever. Except maybe with his mom or something, and his mom never really criticized his fashion choices. Still, he had fun with Wanda and was looking forward to that part of it.

Which was why he was on time at the ground floor of the MAC to meet with Wanda, smiling when he saw her.]

[The attendant blinks at him, a little dubious.]

The.. wardrobe malfunction? No, I can't say that it does.

There is no way this is all real.

I don't know what you're talking about, but sure. It's much more plausible that we're all sharing a mass hallucination.

[Eli sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.]

[Wanda emerged from the fitting rooms holding all but the last swimsuit. She handed the pile to the attendant with a smile.]

Ring these up for me, won't you? I believe you still have my card.

[As the other girl left, she turned to grin at Eli.]

Is that enough shopping for you, then?

[Eli smiled and stood up with her.]

You didn't have to get those for me, you know. And that's enough unless you're going to try on lingerie too.

Why, do you think I should? I already have rather a lot, but I'm not entirely sure how much is considered an appropriate amount..

No, I'm fine. I'm ready to go if you are.

[She couldn't help but smile back, and turned to sign the receipt when it was offered to her.]

Is there anywhere else you'd like to go? I have a feeling that cab from before will still be around..

[Eli sounded rather hopeful about that at the moment.]

[Her brow furrowed momentarily, and then she blinked at him again, this time in recognition.]

[Wanda turned on her heel and headed for the escalator again, assuming (correctly) that the poor attendant would continue to haul their bags after her.]

[Eli hurried after her, wondering how she could move so fast in those heels. And remembering how she looked in the bathing suit.]
