WHO: Seras and Kenny, Open
WHERE: Central Park.
WHEN: Sunday, just after sunset.
WARNINGS: Bra poppings, probable foul language.
SUMMARY: Seras meets Kenny in the park. Hilarity ensues.

Once the sun had set Seras made her way to the place she'd agreed to meet Kenny. She still wasn't sure exactly why she'd agreed to this, but it just didn't feel right telling him no. He was probably on his own here and she knew how that felt. Besides, it wasn't as if her schedule was so busy she couldn't do it. There was also the fact he'd been getting up to no good recently so keeping a closer eye on him certainly couldn't hurt. The last thing she wanted to see happen to any of the kids here was for them to have a run in with CPS and be dragged off to some orphanage somewhere. She knew how rough that could be just being a normal kid. She didn't want to imagine how an Import might be treated. If spending an evening taking a kid to the park prevented that then it wasn't much of a burden.

Arriving at the meeting place she put on a smile and took a seat on a bench to wait for the little boy in the orange parka.

"I'm not kidding," she growled at him and let her fangs show a little. She would probably feel bad about it later, but right now her anger and vampire instincts were winning out over her human ones. Which was probably why she reached out to try and take hold of Kenny by his collar.

Seras grabbing onto his collar sobered him and snapped him back to reality.

"Mhey, mcalm mhourm mmpboner, mit mwas mmjust a mmphucking mjoke." And then he noticed that something was off about her. Why was her eyes glowing? Why did she have fangs? "Mhat mphe mmphuck?!"

Man, he was in such deep shit.

Hopefully this would scare him into behaving himself. "I told you, don't EVER do that again! It's not funny. Do it again and I'm going to deal with you. Understand?"

He had the decency to shrink a little at her screaming. "Mmkay."

Some people just didn't have a sense of humor. But Kenny kept quiet unless she went psycho on him again.

Him shrinking from her is what finally snapped her out of her anger. What the hell was she doing? Sure, he was a bastard, but he was just a kid. Looking at him right now it reminded her all to clearly of when he Master took her by the collar once. Shocked, she let go of him and turned away, closing her eyes. When she opened them again they'd returned to normal. "Look just...don't do it. Now stay here while I go find a restroom and fix this thing."

Kenny nodded, almost eagerly.

While she was gone, he stood around kicking at the snow on the ground idly. Sure, that was a stupid thing to do but hell if it wasn't funny. To think something so simple could drive her over the edge. He'll just have to make sure that next time Seras was far away, because his power was too awesome to never use again.

After a few minutes Seras returned still looking grouchy. She still couldn't believe he'd done that to her. She was tempted to just leave him in the park and go home, but she'd never forgive herself if she did that. It looked like she was stuck with him for now. "Look, I'm still mad at you, but if you promise to behave we'll finish our walk and I'll make sure you get home alright. Can you do that?"

Seras feels awful, but I am laughing myself out of my chair here. Thanks for this bit of absurdity.
