SUMMARY: Sanji is opening the doors of his club to everyone not in jail to cut loose and have a party. Also because it was his birthday, but mostly just to party. Pirates like to party. No trashing the club this time (his insurance can't take it) but if anyone wants to start something, just remember that the three monsters of the Straw Hat crew are in attendence and itching to smack someone down. Consider it like one giant Open RP set in All That Jazz and go nuts.
FORMAT: ladies' choice

The club staff was getting overtime pay for a normal night. The food was free and made to order. The bar wasn't free, alas, but somebody has to pay for all the booze. The entertainment was up to the crowd, between karaoke and Zoidberg's offerings. And tonight, Sanji was just going to sit back and enjoy it.

So he'd turned twenty-one, big deal. If he bothered to get ID, he could buy booze now. That didn't really matter to him as much as the other impending changes in his life. He had half the crew with him, at last. The sale of the club would probably be going through in the next few weeks. They could go back to being pirates, recapture some of the glory waiting for them back home. Why not go out with a bang? A huge party the likes of the kind the Straw Hats enjoyed after every major victory, with lots of food and alcohol, singing and dancing, stupid stories and laughter.

Sanji perched on a stool by the bar to welcome people in, blatantly smoking inside his own club in defiance of the local laws, sharply dressed in a pinstripe shirt and waistcoat and the snappy new fedora Nami gave him for his birthday. Tonight's theme was "anything goes," and he was eager to find out whether these people from another world knew how to party.

Angie blushed, looping arms with Gemma, "Thank you, Sanji. We've been looking forward to the party all week. It'll be a nice distraction from worrying over the wedding, I hope."

"I hope so, too," Sanji beamed. "I'm glad you made All That Jazz your choice for a place to unwind and have fun before tomorrow. Er...not that getting married isn't fun, I'm sure it is."

If it hadn't been the night before Angelica's wedding, Gemma never would have agreed to wear such an... inappropriate dress. Well, that wasn't completely true; she might have been pressured into it some other way, but she wasn't about to think about that. Tugging at the hem of the dress, she smiled at Sanji, glad Angie was there with her. "Yes, well. It's quite a nice place you have here."

"It's adorable!" Angie gushed, ordering up two fruity cocktails for the both of them. It was probably just nerves in advance for tomorrow, but she was almost shaking in her strappy heels. "Gemma, we should sing a duet! There's bound to be some songs in there we both know!"

Sanji turned to make sure the order made it to the bar. "Now, now. First round is on me, ladies. All in honor of Miss Angelica's big day."

Gemma was shaking for a completely different reason. She didn't comment on the cocktails, but just smiled graciously and accepted it. "Thank you kindly, sir."

She stared at Angelica for a moment about the singing, and then just smiled a bit. "I'm afraid I don't know many songs."

"Thanks, Sanji! That's so sweet of you!" She grinned, giving his arm an enthusiastic squeeze before sending Gemma a reassuring look. "If nothing else, you can pick out a song for me to sing!"
