Gamzee took a second to look at the crackling hand and consider the powers of someone who could appear like that. Then he considered the powers of someone who had not yet just beaten him in the ground, but seemed to him to not be able to immediately take him down.

"Robin Hood wasn't up at being real, as I all recall. And if you all motherfuckin' want me to take this wicked shit elsewhere you're all motherfuckin' going to have to make me, sister."

He then leapt back and aimed to throw the bow directly at Chão's face while he pulled another weapon out of his strife deck. Not knowing what it was yet, he wasn't sure what fighting tactic he'd go with, but as soon as he properly felt the weight he'd be sure to go through with a plan that suited the thing.

The back of Chao's hand went up, knocking aside the bow before it met her face. She took a wide, low step in, her body low to the ground with it, as the hand she had used to block the bow moved forward into an open palm strike. It was a Northern Shaolin technique, backed up with the power granted by her battle suit (http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f322/dragonmeteor/negima-151/chao-pwns-asuna.jpg). It might not look like much, but the blow would be enough to destroy steel.

She had been hoping to reason with him, or at least threaten him, but she hadn't been able to gather that much intel on whoever had done the archery killings the previous day. It didn't look like he could be reasoned with, and battle instinct was carrying her through this moment. Perhaps after a demonstration of power, they could part their separate ways.

If he got up after this blow.

Gamzee, being just smart enough to try and avoid taking a direct blow from anyone, avoided getting with the full force of the strike, but as he got hit he was suddenly reminded of the time he'd taken some of the force behind one of Equius's punches. It didn't hurt, not much did for him, but that was still enough to move him back a bit. Okay, he was going to have to avoid getting a direct blow from her if he could; that'd be a pain in the ass, but he could manage it was sure.

His hand moved up and using mostly his wrist he lashed out with his whip. As he did this he kept moving around, trying to stay out of range. After being in quite a few fights here he was starting to learn a little more about how to judge his enemies and what to do about maneuvering around them. He wasn't perfect, but he was fast and he was very resilient, so it would be a little difficult to knock Gamzee down. Provided he didn't get hit on his weak point at least.

First a bow and arrow... the weapon that Chao had known about from the future. But now a whip? He hadn't wasted any time in ditching the bow for another weapon, and they were far different from each other at that. Talk about a multi-talented fighter.

Chao lightly backstepped, moving out of range of the whip. She narrowed her eyes slightly. Moving in under these conditions would be a little difficult.

At least it would be normally.

Without any fanfare, to Gamzee she would seem to disappear completely. In truth, she had gone back in time another 24 hours. The streets were completely normal at this time: the nerds hadn't begun their campaign. She did garner a few odd looks from the normal citizens as she appeared, walked over to Gamzee's position in the future, lash out with an elbow strike, and then disappear, heading back to the time of the fight.

She appeared at the precise moment she had disappeared, in effect seeming to teleport directly behind Gamzee. She was already in mid-strike, the elbow aimed for Gamzee's back.

Sorry this is late.

Another hit he couldn't fully dodge. Gamzee moved as much as he could to take the blow in a part of his body the could better deal with the damage than his back could. The force behind the hit almost knocked him down, but because he was still moving and he didn't feel the pain behind it he still had a hold with his feet.

If he could swing it he was also going to try to get ahold of Chao while he was still moving. Aiming to grab her arm and pull her with him as he moved Gamzee hoped to twist and wrench her arm to break it. He was strong enough that he could snap even a muscular person's arm with little effort, but then he'd actually have to be able to grab Chao and the suit he was guessing may make this a little more difficult than he'd like.

Recognizing that he probably needed to get out of this fight quickly he was also putting a lot more force behind this move and preparing to run off. If Chao could see it she could probably see the way his muscles were tensing and guess that he was going to put a lot of effort into this one move.

Chao realized she was in trouble as soon as he grabbed a hold of her arm. Letting somebody get a hold of her was never a good thing. The next part happened quickly: she could feel her muscles straining as he twisted, could feel her arm...

Thankfully, the Artificial Intelligence program kicked in, quickly sending Chao several hours into the future. The place was desolate at that time. Chao grabbed her arm, feeling for- pain...!

"Tch." It didn't feel like it was broken, but there was probably a hairline fracture. She couldn't really afford to use it in combat until she could have it looked at. But still, she had to go and make sure that this guy wasn't going to add any more deaths to his record. She braced herself for another round of fighting and jumped back in time to when she had left.

She appeared only slightly off from where she had disappeared and several seconds later. She disguised any pain, putting a smirk on her face.

"You can do better than that, can't you?"

For the seconds Chao hadn't returned Gamzee was starting to make a move to run off and still cautiously looking around for his opponent. He stopped when he heard her words.

Screw common sense, he just got insulted again and that insult was particularly worthy of another push for this fight.

"Yeah, I all can get up at doing better than all that," he practically hissed and then lashed out with his whip again.

The lash would still be pretty powerful, but Gamzee was actually reserving most of his strength now. He was counting on Chao teleporting around him again and when she did he'd use his strength to try and get a hold of her again. He wasn't counting on actually breaking anything, since he didn't seem to have the last time, but he might be able to do something with his horns if he timed things just right.
