[Sits down!] It was like chocolate everything and was so good. That's the only thing I've had, though. We could try something else. Ha, we should make it a challenge to have sampled every piece of pie here by a certain time.

[Teddy pushes the chair in and moves to take his own. He just gives an amused smile when Billy mentions this challenge.]

You want to try every single kind of pie in the entire place? Might have to get you a bigger costume if we do that. [He's only teasing.]

Hey! [Mock glares at.] I didn't say to do it all in one go. Like once a week or so.

[Peruses the menu.] Do you want to get just one whole pie and split it or like... maybe get a few different slices and taste test them all?

[He chuckles, enjoying the mock glare.]

Once a week sounds more doable.

[Looks over the menu as well.] How about we try the few different slices idea?

[He gives a fake sniffle and wipes away an invisible tear.] Don't tell me you just love me for my body, you big meanie. Or else I will resort to throwing things.

Alright. One each, two each? Do we dare three?

[He reaches across the table to take one of Billy's hands and give it a little squeeze.] You know I love you for more than that, B. Even if you do have a great one.

[The blond thinks a few moments.] Two each sounds good to me.

[And that gets him a little flustered as he squeezes back.] I know, T. Doesn't matter what you look like either.

[Rubs his hands together.] So what's your poison?

Good thing I can look like anyone I want then. [He grins, squeezing Billy's hand one more time before letting go.]

I'm going to try the appleberry and the cocoa coffee cup pie. What about you?

I got over the moon before so I'll go with... strawberry fields aaaand... can't go wrong with a brownie sundae. Any objections?

No objections here, B. I'll go get the orders. Be right back.

[He gets up and starts towards the counter. Of course while he's gone and waiting for the orders to come, Teddy sends a few texts.

'Want a drink?'

'Long line :('

'Guy by the door is checking you out.'

'Got the pie! :)'

And sure enough. Teddy arrives a few moments later with a carefully balanced tray. He grins as he sets it on the table, taking his seat again.]

[He could just go with Teddy but he'll save the table. Besides, it's stupidly amusing to text someone in the same room as you.

'Sure, w/e lemon lime there is.'

'Poor baby, do I need to come rescue you from boredom.'

'You're delusional, he's looking behind me at that girl over there.'

'Don't drop it! Guess I should stop texting so you don't.'

Pockets his phone and grins when Teddy comes back.]

Sure looks delicious. [Brandishes a fork like a weapon.] Shall we?

[Drops a straw into each of their drinks and picks up his own fork.]

Sure thing.

Young Avengers...eat pie. [He snickers before digging into the appleberry pie first.]

[Snitches some of his first just because and tries some.] Hmm. Not bad. [Offers some of his! Steals the first bite from that one too though, ha.] Aaah, delicious strawberries.

[Teddy laughs.] Pie thief. [He reaches over to sample Billy's as well.] Very delicious strawberries.

Oh yeah? [Teddy picks up some of the cocoa coffee pie with his fork and offers it to Billy with a little smile.]

[Raises an eyebrow but leans forward and eats the bite anyway.] Not bad. [Takes a bite of the brownie sundae, muses over it for a moment.] I think I'm going to say I like this one the best. So much chocolate.

And I know how much you love chocolate. [Teddy smiles as he eats some of the apple pie.] This one's good too. I like the mix of berries in with the apples.

I will have you know, chocolate is one of the best things ever created. But I can just hear my mom's voice in my head telling me to eat the one with fruit in it instead.

Then let's compromise. [Teddy reaches out to take Billy's fork from him, scooping up some chocolate with it and some of the fruit with his own. The blond gives an impish smile before offering both forks to Billy at the same time.]

You? Are a genius. Why did we not think of this before. We could make impromptu chocolate covered strawberries. Well, pieces of strawberries, at least. [Eagerly takes both forks and eats up the food.]
