Ned blinked a few times, but didn't hesitate to approach her. He had a giant turtle regular after all. He could handle this. Maybe. Popping out from the kitchen, he tilts his head.

"Please, have a seat. Can I get you c-coffee to start?"

At his appearance she turned to face him and inclined her head in an almost regal manner, though her smile was warm and friendly.

"Coffee sounds lovely, thank you."

She turned her head as if to consider her choices for seats, then moved to sit at the counter. She deftly adjusted her skirt as she sat down on the bar stool. All this done with her eyes completely closed.

In a few seconds, there's a warm mug of coffee in front of her, and Ned smiles again. "Can I get you anything else..." He wondered if she could read the menu, or if she was blind, but he's much too polite to ask outright.

She'd glanced over the menu through closed eyes, but it was so extensive she wasn't sure what to order. So, instead she smiled at Ned. "Are you the baker here?"

He snapped his attention back to her eyes, realizing a bit belatedly he was staring. "Uh--yes. That's me. Owner and piemaker. Ned, is my name."

She doesn't mind the attention, really. She's gotten used to it. And she often received similar reactions back in Azeroth when she made an appearance to the mortal races.

"Ned is a fine name; very straightforward." She smiled gently, hoping to put him at ease. "I am Ysera."

She tilted her head a little, ears perking up a bit as she gestured to the menu. "Have you any recommendations, Ned?"

"Not as straightforward, but still... very nice." He nodded, thinking about that. "Pumpkin always gets popular this time of year."

She smiled warmly. "Then, I shall have some pumpkin. It's been a very long time since I've had some."
