The dance hall is downtown, near a few bars. Cheerful salsa music is playing, and some songs have an instructor guiding the newbies through. The rest of the songs, are a free for all.

There's a seated area for anyone needed to grab a drink after a fast dance. Sofia is there, grabbing a coke while she waits for her friends.

[ He catches her, hand sliding automatically round to the small of her back. ]

Who says? I’d rather take your mind off it all.

[Sofia's body relaxes automatically against Julian's again]

You already do that very well, I do not worry about things here when I am around you.

[ He likes this position the best, just for the record. ]

Good. ...Do you worry about things when you're not?

Sometimes. It's a new place, Julian, and I am still learning about it. I worry about about what I don't know yet.

Hey, it's not like I live a million miles away. Already said you could come over whenever. Any time you're not feelin' it, give me a call.

[wind_dancer]

I will, I just don't like relying on you for every little thing. It isn't fair.

[hellionated]

Who said anything about fair? Maybe I want you around. [ ... ]

Oh, then I will call around more often and we can do things.

[hellionated]

Okay then. [ He is smiling too much now. So he leans a bit into her to hide it, pulling her closer so that he’s talking more into her ear. ] You remember that summer, when I wanted you to come stay? Be kinda like that. [ IGNORING the fact that they were dating then. Not even relevant, at all. ]

[wind_dancer]

[His lips by her ears may just have made her shiver] We don't have a swimming pool in our apartments

[ He felt that shiver. He turns his head, brushing her ear slightly when he talks this time. The whisper is very soft. ] We can fly to the beach in a few minutes.

Stop that [she murmurs in a tone that suggests she does not want him too] I can't think clearly.

Huh? [ Turning his head a little more. ] Stop what?
