[He's standing calf high in the man-made lake at the park's center his trousers rolled up his skinny legs and his coat tossed on a nearby bench. People stare at him as he converses with the ducks and geese that have wandered closer to this strange being. It would seem that they're all having a fantastic conversation with the man although that could also be the large bag of stale bread pieces he has in his hand.]

That's the problem with most, so busy rushing around forgetting to enjoy the world around them even if it is a rather dull blue ball.

Nonono, not boring just very...linear.

A little linearity can be nice. Comforting, in a way, but I can see how it would get a bit old.

That explains a lot. I had a feeling you were an old spirit, underneath that young exterior, but that's all right. Sometimes it's good to be old and wise to be slow.

Well, I don't know if I'm ready to slow down just yet, and I've still got a few good lives left, but...

But sometimes I do wonder if maybe it's time to go away and leave things be. I've caused a lot of mischief in my day and recently it's gotten the people I care most about hurt.

It's a very sad word too. If you say hello then one day you must say goodbye. I hate that part which is why I try and make sure to leave before that bit.
