Bakura's Birthday Shindig [OPEN]

SUMMARY: Bakura's turning 20! Time for all the fluffballs and assholes who know and like him to party. And collect delicious random CR from each other.

The last-minute party is ready to go. Momiji had been entrusted with the decorations, the cake is coming with Maggie, and food and drink are in the process of being set out. The Mancave is still in pristine form, with arcade games and console games hooked up to the giant TV, and poor Pierre still surviving well enough in his tank. Alastair has his longest techno playlist pumping through the stereo. All they need now is the birthday boy himself!

Oh, and Vector, Alastair has a request for you. Something about space bridges, Tokyo, and January.

Mokuba seemed to want to play games snuggled close. It wasn't a very macho thing to do, but after fighting with Alastair, and the argument with his brother, he would take all closeness he could come by. He didn't even gloat too much, preferring to grin and cuddle.

Alastair was fine with that. It was a good way to spend an evening, and got more entertaining the more he drank, too. He didn't need an exciting night out at the hottest dance club with the loudest music to celebrate and have a good time, after all. Maybe he was getting old.

Mokuba kept one eye on Alastair's drinking. Niisama didn't drink, but at formal functions people sometimes drank around them. Alastair was drinking more than they usually did, though.

Was it really so much fun? Mokuba eyed the drink Alastair was working on and tried to decide if he could get a sip to try without Alastair noticing.

Fortunately, for now, Alastair kept his bottle close at hand, and without awesome fun people like Hiruma around to distract him, he wasn't likely to let Mokuba get too close to it. The last thing he needed was to be killed by Kaiba. Yet, he wasn't consciously thinking about it - he had no idea what the kid was scheming.

Thankfully, Mokuba wasn't exactly planning anything. But when he leaned into Alastair to tease or cuddle, his eyes invariably darted to the beer, and he slowly leaned closer and closer, trying to get a smell.
