[ John sits on a bench outside one of the shops, kicking his legs back and forth, kind of happy that after half a year of being wasted time in the City his feet at least now scrape the floor when he does things like this. He's glancing around at the crowd nervously, wondering what he's actually doing here in the first place, and looking over at Dave every so often as though expecting some kind of cue. ]

[ She fits perfectly into this! Because somehow this has become a wingman competition, and since John is pretty sure he's not gonna be lucky enough to have more mutual friends show up to try and set Dave up on a date with, which means he has to be bold!! And being bold means he has to talk to people he doesn't know, so he's approach her, all grins and puppies and sunshine and innocence. ]

I'm not too busy. Probably going to have to build the parts I need from scratch anyways.

[ Well that certainly wasn't where she expected this conversation to go. Maybe, like, I'm lost! Or can I borrow some money? Or just some random question or something. She blinks slowly. ]

Any particular reason you want me to go on a date with him, kid?

Well, he's never been on a proper date before, and you look really nice, and I figure maybe you wouldn't mind showing him the ropes of how to date, because he really is clueless when it comes to girls!

[ Holy run-on sentences, Batman! Does this kid stop to breathe? ]

[There's this looong pause. She almost wants to say yes, but.]

Okay, how old are you guys?

[ Muttering something under his breath. Hahaha... ha... Yeah, high pitched voice, hasn't even hit 5'3"... this kid can't be older than fourteen at most (thirteen in reality.) ]

[She grins and shakes her head. This is adorable.]

It's a schway mission, dude, but it might actually be illegal for me to take him on a date.

I can try to impart advice, if you want, but I'm not sure how great at that I am.

I don't think it's illegal! I mean, not for a date, it might be illegal to marry him or something, but I don't think that's going to happen.

[ Shifts back and forth from one foot to the next. ]

I'm not sure advice is going to help a lot right now.

... [Man she can be such a sucker sometimes.]

You know what, I'll do it. I will take your friend on a not-a-date date. So long as I choose the movie, or where we go.
