[Food is courtesy of anyone who's brought pot-luck dishes -- Sanji, to say the least -- and there's a good amount of fizzy punch to go around, both alcoholic and non. Kids trying to sneak a sip of the stronger stuff will find it loses its bite when they take a sip, however.]

[All the girls have helped with the decorating, and the house is literally aglow with bobbing candles and glittery spheres.]

[There's also some mystery dishes by Luna -- one of which Andromeda is sampling cautiously.]

Ah, no. Nothing with Bellatrix is really going to be resolved any time soon, I'm sure of that much.

Likely not. But it also is nothing you haven't lived with for years.

Unfortunately, I'd been neatly ignoring it. That's a little easier to do when you're less likely to run into them because of random happenstance.

I've been trying to compensate by -- working outside the usual, as it were.

[He's not surprised. The Potters, outside the age difference, never were Andromeda's sort of people. Too Gryffindor.]

How is that working out for you, then?

Interestingly, at least.

So far there haven't been any major conflicts -- with them.

How are they holding up? With Lupin's departure.

As well as can be expected, I'd say. They've dealt with disappearances before.

Quite. But none so entrenched in the City as Mr. Lupin.
