I found life out on the weekdays
WHO: Mirror Master and you...
WHERE: Anywhere!
WHEN: Between the 13th-15th.
WARNINGS: Oh, I don't know??
SUMMARY: McCulloch explores the City and spies on a lot of people while he does it.
FORMAT: Quick?
The most obvious thing McCulloch noticed about this place was that he couldn't get back to the Mirror Lands. Not for lack of trying, of course, but every attempt he made just took him down a long tunnel lined with windows for every mirror and reflective surface which he could sure still peer through, but it wasn't the same. He couldn't find or do what he wanted with the same kind of ease.
But there's aye a something; he'd learn to use it just like he'd learned to use the Mirror Land. He ran down the tunnel, peering through each window as he went to get a feel of this place. It may have been New York, but he didn't know if it was New York or alternate New York or Mirror New York or what -- or who else was here, but so far he was just seeing the same old mundane things like people brushing their teeth, objects in the rear view mirror, birds hitting windows, women putting on makeup. (Way too much rogue, but that was Americans for you.)

Only two. [ Odd, she can't get his scent. Maybe he's not really here? ] Who are you?
no subject
no subject
Mirror Master? [ snort! ] You're new, then. It sounds like you showed up perfectly prepared, though. [ This could be a smile, except surely no well-meaning expression could include that many sharp teeth. ] I'm Khisanth.
no subject
Aye. Ya know what they say 'boot being prepared. Seem a bit trapped though, eh? [ He tilts his head. ] Ya make it sound like we away at camp.
no subject
[ Or... from what she understands "away at camp" to mean BUT SHE'S SEEN MOVIES, OKAY. so many movies. ]
You may be here for just two weeks, or... [ Have you ever seen a dragon shrug? It involves a lot of wing movement. ] Two years.
no subject
Two years? Do you think I came up the Clyde on a raft? No? What's the in-between on that?
no subject
No, I don't think that. [ and she's... not sure why it matters...?? ] Did you?
no subject
[ He blinks at her. Ohh. ]
Ah, nae, it's an expression. I thought ya might be swankin' me, dragon lady.

no subject
Yankin' my chain. Having a go. Jokin', right?
no subject
I'm not joking. There are people here that were grabbed by the Porter... oh, I don't know, three years ago?
no subject
We'll see 'boot that one. If there's a way in there's a way back oot. How long's it been for you?
no subject
[ And she's looking a little closer, obviously interested in the gun. ]
What is that?
no subject
[ Well, assuming this is some kind of mirror world. He sticks his arm that's holding the gun out the reflection into the world of 3D and pulls the trigger, which casts a large reflection of Khisanth in mid-air as if a mirror were hanging there. ]
So it's not completely broken.
no subject
[ But this new thing is more interesting than teaching people about their new home! She leaps from the ledge into the air, flapping around this sort-of-her for a closer look. ]
Interesting. Is that all it can do?
no subject
no subject
Really what? [ wow this guy, he is going to lose her so fast ]
no subject
Really we cannae get home?
no subject
no subject
Awright! You're a right wee clatty for a dragon! [ Chinhands. ] So what's a dragon get up to 'roond here? Caught yerself any princesses?
no subject
Oh, once. [ Tim counts as a princess, right? Right. ] It wasn't nearly as satisfying as you might expect.
no subject

[ If this guy is a hero, he's a pretty decent one. There's a few pleased tail-tip flips as she watches him, then: ] Can you come out of there?
no subject
Better?
no subject
[ Still watching, still considering... ]
Do you have any... less colorful clothing?
