[ Once again, she feels a prick of guilt when she slips out of the apartment, leaving Nill all alone for the night. It's the last thing she needs, but Kate reminds herself she knew what she was getting into when she first donned this uniform. It has to be done. This is her duty.

With that, she focuses on the tasks ahead of her for tonight. Time to get to work. ]

[ that... is so cool. Of course there's that underlying sense of wariness, because she's a Bat, but-- well, Carrie isn't killing people anymore, right? So there should be no real need to worry. Instead, she'll just quietly try not to fangirl her. ]

No better way to waste time. [ She leans down, indicating two of them. ] I got those two.

All yours.

[ She darts off toward the edge, her presence goes undetected by the others below. She'll slip around the other side, that way she and Redbird have them surrounded.

The buyer being her target goes without saying.

Now they wait. ]

[ They don't have to wait long. The buyer's just a minute away, if that. And as soon as he's in sight, she darts a glance up at Batwoman to make sure they're on the same page. 'Course, that's the thing about Bats. They're basically always on the same page with you.

She drops from the ledge without ceremony, landing on the shoulders of her first target. He goes down without even a chance to shout in surprise, and she leaps for her next-- and of course she has to dart another glance over, to see how Batwoman's doing. Not out of concern, no way. Pretty much just to see her in action. How many chances do you get? ]

[ The buyer makes his first mistake: a split second pause when he's realized he's walked into a trap. He goes for the gun, but all Kate needed was that split second to dive towards him. By the time his weapon is drawn and directed at her chest, Kate's already gotten a hand against his wrist and pushed it far back.

The shot rings out, yet hits no one. She then strikes him in the jaw, her gauntlet's edges grazing the skin on his face and drawing blood immediately. ]

[ Her second target is down pretty fast after she guides his head into a wall. There doesn't seem to be much force in the move, but with a little coaxing of her powers, she doesn't need it. He's out all the same.

She lands on the balls of her feet, ready to leap away again if any more of those gunshots are looking likely, ready to lend a hand if need be. ]
