WHO: Diana and City Hall people!
WHERE: City Hall.
WHEN: Saturday afternoon.

SUMMARY: Diana pays an informal visit to City Hall.
FORMAT: Quick at first, then whatever!

[Diana has been looking forward to this visit for several reasons. She admittedly wants to see how the City is being run, and while it isn't her priority, it's a good opportunity to observe.

She arrives without pomp and dressed in casual clothing, her Wonder Woman armor and accessories nowhere in sight. She isn't exactly inconspicuous despite this, but she's still hoping to blend in. After all, she isn't here in any formal capacity -- only to visit friends.]

[ Andy isn't in every day but he is in most days, and boy, as he walked over to his small office he was expecting only to see the usual faces, and not...

Not... Diana. Not that they'd ever really met in person, not that Andy ever thought it would be a good idea to. It was like seeing a celebrity you idolized in person for the time and realizing you had nothing interesting to say. He dropped the folders he was holding and rapped his elbow against the side of the door when he bent to pick them up. ]

Ah! Damn -- darn-- it--

[ He ducked into his office, peeking out and hoped that wasn't noticed. ]

[Unfortunately for Andy, Diana doesn't need superhuman hearing to notice that. She furrows her brow in concern, her expression relaxing into a smile when she sees Andy peeking out of his office.] Andy! I didn't expect to see you here.

[ Andy stands up slowly, clearing his throat and acting as nonchalant as possible. He waves to her. ]

Hey, Diana...! What brings you--? I work here, actually, is there, I've never seen you here... before. Hi, by the way. [ He offers her his hand after a long moment of not knowing what to do with them. ]

Oh yes, I remember you talking about an Arts committee on the Network. I'm here for an informal visit. [She takes his hand, giving it a firm shake.] It's lovely to finally meet you.

[ He smiles, completely flustered. ]

You too. Is, are you, um, official business? [ Pretend that was a sentence. ] I mean. So you're just here to say hi?

Yes, the visit is purely social. I'm here to see a few people, but it's such a pleasant surprise to run into you.

Yeah -- yeah! It's a complete surprise! Who are you visiting? [ He peers around, having no idea. Does she have a boyfriend here.... ]

I thought I'd drop by and see how Mitchell and Edward are doing. I hope to come across James, too. I know he's part of the Mayoral security detail.

And you? Is it typical for you to work on a Saturday?

Oh... [ He nods slowly. ] I think I saw them around. Edward and Mayor Hundred, for sure.

[ And he shrugs. ]

I don't know if I'd say typical. But I get more work done here than at home.

I understand. The comforts of home can be distracting if one wants to be productive. How is the committee coming along?

It's coming along great. I have a few people on staff and a whole lot of volunteers.

I'm glad to hear that. And I'm always available, if you do find yourself needing more assistance.

That's great. That you're available, I mean, I'll totally -- yeah. If there's anything, you know even if you just say it has your support that would go a long way I bet.

I support it completely. I think it's admirable of you to do this for the Import community, Andrew.

Do you have any ongoing projects at the moment?

Right now I want to raise money for a wing in a museum. That's the agenda.

That's a lovely idea. I'm sure it's progressing wonderfully.

Slowly. But I think so.

I can't wait to see what talent the Import community has to offer.

Same here. [ Smiles sheepishly. ] Uh -- anyway, if you're here to see someone don't let me keep you.

I'm not in a hurry, but I wouldn't want to keep you from your work either. [She leans in for a quick hug.] I'm glad that we've finally gotten a chance to meet.
