SUMMARY: Diana pays an informal visit to City Hall.
FORMAT: Quick at first, then whatever!

[Diana has been looking forward to this visit for several reasons. She admittedly wants to see how the City is being run, and while it isn't her priority, it's a good opportunity to observe.

She arrives without pomp and dressed in casual clothing, her Wonder Woman armor and accessories nowhere in sight. She isn't exactly inconspicuous despite this, but she's still hoping to blend in. After all, she isn't here in any formal capacity -- only to visit friends.]

[sob] I didn't know James Bond liked playing video games.

Every now and then. Sony sent me a lot of free gear when I first arrived a few years back, PS3 included. It's like being sponsored for existing.

[Into the empty staff area and heading straight for the coffee machine. James doesn't tend to drink too much of the stuff, if only to keep his body in a relatively healthy state, but he allows himself the odd one or two throughout the day.] Tea? Coffee? Cold drink?

That's quite convenient. I do hope their sales went up after that. [She doesn't drink too much coffee for health reasons, either.] Tea, please.

British, Lipton or Green?

[themysciran]

Green. [A beat.] Have you come across Zatanna yet? I happen to know that she's looking for you.

[doubleoohbaby]

[Dumdedum making the tea and coffee.] Ah, no, I've been doing the rounds, must have just missed her. I'll give her a call in a bit, see if she's still around. I'm sure she'll happily agitate Mitch until then.

[themysciran]

You'll see her soon enough, I'm certain. [She pauses, a smile spreading across her lips.] I'm glad you two have finally settled your differences.

[doubleoohbaby]

I must say it's nicer now that everything is a little- [Considering his wording for a brief second, stirring his coffee thoughtfully.]- calmer. I'm quite a fan of the quiet life when I can get it.

[He turns back towards her, holding out a mug of green tea with some ridiculous and not at all witty slogan of 'Just say no to meetings!' Apparently such mugs are guaranteed in any place of work. James' own coffee mug is clearly an exception to the rule. Ok, no it's lame, but he didn't buy it.]

[themysciran]

It's a welcome reprieve, isn't it? [She accepts the mug, casting an amused look at James'.] That's quite an interesting mug you have there.

[doubleoohbaby]

[An agreeing nod at just how welcome some down time is, and then... glancing at his mug.] Ah, yes. It was a gift. Got a few fans kicking around. You must have more than a fair share of those yourself, Mitch included.

[themysciran]

I'm not as recognizable, when I'm not in my armor. And I wouldn't exactly consider Mitchell a fan. [It's too weird.] Though I have to admit it's quite unsettling to have people you've never met know every aspect of your life.

[doubleoohbaby]

I suppose you've got that, at least. [God he wishes he wasn't so recognisable without his suit or something. It'd make life easier. Still, if he dresses scruffy and puts on shades, sometimes he's not spotted.] I imagine you had fans back home, did you not?

[themysciran]

I suppose I did, but truthfully, I've never taken to that kind of attention. Still, I have used my influence to do good things -- it's one of the advantages of being known in specific circles.

Mm, I suppose there is that. People tend to listen more when they think you've got something worth saying.
