Penny supposed it was a good thing they had just returned from Chicago. Having not even had the opportunity to unpack, there was no need for her to re-pack. The same bag with the same contents sat almost plaintively as she and Arnold stood on the roof, side by side, looking out over the city.

A helicopter was coming. It would take her to safety, but it was hard for Penny to think of anything but how it was taking her away from him.

She closed her eyes, and turned to bury her face in his shirt.
