It's late at night and Bobby is hunting around int he fridge for some milk.

Yes, yes, he knows that using milk as comfort food is probably a horrible habit, but that's what Mom always gave him, that's what he associates with love, so that's what he's gonna drink. Everyone else can just suck it up.

Plus, it won't give him a beer belly or a hangover. That's always a plus.
