we're low in our hearts we're low in our heads

WHO: Monet and open!
WHERE: X-Factor, City Hall, the skies, shopping
WHEN: 7/27-8/3
WARNINGS: none.
SUMMARY: Monet got ported back in and now she's taking care of business.
FORMAT: Paragraph set-up, but anything goes.

Rictor and Shatterstar both gone was frustrating, at best. Rictor was going to get an earful when he returned for leaving her with the paperwork again. (Maybe she could delegate it to someone else. She did have a team, they had to be good for something. Besides just solving mysteries, that was.)

She didn't make X-Factor her first stop, spending some time flying around the City first instead in dissatisfaction, but eventually she did make her way there and start to sort things out. It wasn't a complete shambles, at least. She hadn't picked a completely incompetent team. Still, there were things to deal with there and liaisoning with City Hall that needed to be done, and though she put it off and did a fair amount of delegating, she was still in the office fairly frequently over the next week.

[ ooc: if none of those options work for you, feel free to stumble upon her working on a case or lurking around somewhere. ]

Normally just out right asking would be the most logical thing to do. But he's being difficult, and taking the much harder route of stalking and analyzing. All that good stuff.

"I have been discussing them since the first few days of my arrival." Admittedly, Reed Richards is probably much better at it than he is, but eh. From the looks of things the Reed Richards that is here is much younger than the one from his world. He's not sure how his intellect measures up. Which might be why he hasn't built some kind of crazy dimension hopping machine. As far as he knows. "It's all rather strange being able to experience dimensional theories first hand." And it's all still kind of hard to swallow. "Do you know if there has ever been cases of the same person appearing from two different dimension?"

Yeah, apparently Black Panther is a hipster.

"I've yet to experience any of it first hand, no. Though I wouldn't doubt if others in my world have." With super powered mutants and all of that running around, time travel or dimension hopping doesn't seem too unlikely.

"Communication through the devices does give an... impersonal feel. If I have a choice, I do prefer to meet in person." Though from what he usually gathers, it's the best way to speak to a wide variety of people at once. And most people use it, so he's been kind of forced to use it himself.
