[Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is what you might expect a joke shop run my wizards (a wizard, now) to look like. It's colorful, with magically-animated signs and shelves lines with various products for your giggle-worthy pleasure. Along with what he's got leftover from the twins, there's a number of new products debuting today, mostly charmed toys and unique candies. The 'every-flavor' jellies that he'd questioned the Network about are in barrels lining one wall, and wizard chess sets have a display beside the front desk.

One shelving display holds a variety of little jars, each with a particular charm sealed up inside of it. Unbeknownst to Ron, one of these shelves needs a little work. But, apart from that, there are refreshments, magical demonstrations, and cake. It's a party, after all! ]

Ah. I have yet to sample them. I wasn't quite certain how any one flavor could be identified.

You've got to have a good guess by color. I would've labeled them, but that's part of the fun, guessing.

[ So says the wizarding sense of humor, apparently. ]

The darker red's the blood. The brighter red is... Red. O cherry cough syrup. [ Terezi's suggestion, but he won't mention it. ]

[ he doesn't have to ] Cherry red? It's...a good color.

[ she's quiet as she begins to dig through the containers, picking out a dark red here or there ]

Just don't ruin your appetite. [ Impulsive parent-speak, sorry. To make up for it, he adds: ] That's what the cake's for.

I'm sure it won't be a problem. My dietary needs are rather limited.

[ she pops in a jelly bean and squints as she chews through it thoughtfully, trying to work out her feelings on the flavor ]

[ He shrugs without thinking too long on the oddity that is Kanaya, and waits for her expert opinion on the candy. ]

[ she smacks her lips upon finishing, looking at him with some slight uncertainty ]

Slightly bitter, but otherwise a fair approximation of the taste I would expect.

All the same, an admirable attempt from one not so familiar with the flavor as I would be.

Tell me, how is it that you make them?

It's, uh... [ How to best explain? ] You make the candies same as you normally would, I suppose, but they're all flavored with-- Well. Flavors. I wouldn't quite call it a potion, just a charmed sort of thing. You can pull flavors from things and concentrate them down. Then you just add that to the candy mix.

Pull them? Like some sort of direct removal and relocation?

Just so. All the little vials of weird extracts are the top of the spice cabinet, actually. I don't recommend tasting them. [ Just for the record, you know. ]

I'll, uh, keep that in mind. ...And avoid incorporating them in any dish I may prepare us in the future.
