[Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is what you might expect a joke shop run my wizards (a wizard, now) to look like. It's colorful, with magically-animated signs and shelves lines with various products for your giggle-worthy pleasure. Along with what he's got leftover from the twins, there's a number of new products debuting today, mostly charmed toys and unique candies. The 'every-flavor' jellies that he'd questioned the Network about are in barrels lining one wall, and wizard chess sets have a display beside the front desk.

One shelving display holds a variety of little jars, each with a particular charm sealed up inside of it. Unbeknownst to Ron, one of these shelves needs a little work. But, apart from that, there are refreshments, magical demonstrations, and cake. It's a party, after all! ]

As a matter of fact, I was recently working with one of the City's greatest minds on a massive construction project.

[Which is Calvinspeak for building a pillow fort with Topher.]

[Midii has yet to learn Calvinspeak, so she'll just take the declaration at face value.]

What were you building?

Defensive fortifications. Military project, very important, very top-secret.

[Said completely seriously]

[With the most serious face/voice she could muster:]

Then I understand if you cannot share more of the details with me.

Thanks for not prying. I'd hate to have to kill you in the name of security.

Don't worry, when the City needs protection, you'll be glad it's there.

I would...not be very happy with that, either.

Have you been to this shop before?

I used to work here! A lot of the products here were tested on me. [So proud]

Tested how?

Well, they tried things out on me to see what they would do. That's how you test magic stuff like this.

Did it hurt?

Or were they more tests like with Gretel and the bubble?

Are you kidding? It was the most fun I've had since the Moon! I mean, there were one or two issues they needed to work out, but it didn't hurt.

You went to the moon?

I am glad you had fun. Maybe you could recommend something to me.

Yeah, that was the most fun ever. Um, try Bubblecopter! No, you've probably had enough of bubbles. How about Reverie? That one's really mild, it barely did anything to me when I tried it.

[Because Calvin is already in a perpetual daydream...]

[She gives the slightest twitch when Calvin first mentions the bubblecopter, and is thankful when he realizes on his own what a poor decision that might've been.]

What is a Reverie?

Apparently it's supposed to make your daydreams become really realistic. I hoped I could get a real jetpack out of it, but I guess it's not supposed to be that realistic. Maybe they'll fix that in the next upgrade.

How realistic are we talking?

[It actually sounds...kinda cool. Dangerous, but cool.]

I dunno. Vivid, I guess.

[Runs to grab one of the Charms-in-a-Jar.]

[She eyes the jar with equal parts curiosity and caution.]

What do I have to do?

I think you just open it and then the charm hits you!

[Calvin does not actually know what the heck he's doing.]

I hope that is just an expression.

[But as she talks, she contemplates the pros and cons. If Calvin had done it before and come out unscathed, it probably wasn't that dangerous. Even if it was, they were possibly in the best place to perform such an experiment; it was Ron's shop, and he would know how to dispel anything cast upon them.]

[Curiosity won out; she twisted the top off the jar. It took a moment--it was on pretty tight--but eventually, she managed to get it off and peer inside.]

[If Calvin was sitting, he would be on the edge of whatever seat he had.]
