(it is absolutely not common that you end up in the future for your birthday. in fact, despite the discrepancy with his own age back home, cross was actually milking this for all it was worth. when he found out that people actually give you free stuff. a little charm here and a little flirting there, he's got so much free stuff that he doesn't know what to do with it.

what's more, at the moment he's just too excited to spend his birthday not wondering if someone at a party is going to try and kill him. so, throwing caution to the wind, just let the party begin! he's in various locations doing various things.)

Besides, I invited a bunch of people because I rarely get to do that.

The parties. (the strangling is actually quite high.) I don't get to have a lot of parties when I travel.

It's good for a lot of things. I haven't been able to relax like this before. (despite all the crap that goes on in the city, it's actually a lot safer here.)
