(it is absolutely not common that you end up in the future for your birthday. in fact, despite the discrepancy with his own age back home, cross was actually milking this for all it was worth. when he found out that people actually give you free stuff. a little charm here and a little flirting there, he's got so much free stuff that he doesn't know what to do with it.

what's more, at the moment he's just too excited to spend his birthday not wondering if someone at a party is going to try and kill him. so, throwing caution to the wind, just let the party begin! he's in various locations doing various things.)

Last time I checked, exorcists were supposed to be dealing with demons and ghosts and dumb crap. And robots aren't ghosts!

That's a myth perpetrated by the church. The things we kill are robots that are powered on the souls of humans with the primary objective to kill.

(groaning, please be one so that he can end this convo.) So we hunt them down and we destroy them.
