We've got the superhero costumes
WHO: the blonde Batgirl and you guys!
WHERE: In the City, somewhere
WHEN: Not during the trauma tentacles. Doesn't really matter, specify a date if you need it!
WARNINGS: Violence
SUMMARY: Rampant vigilantism
FORMAT: Choose one, I started with both
There was nothing quite like a night on the town. The bright lights on the streets so far below, the wind through her hair as she swung between buildings, the sounds of late-night-early-morning traffic , and the ocassional girly screams of would-be muggers having their arms twisted by a chick in a black and purple cape.
Yes, this was the life. One of them, anyway.

[ She gives him a friendly smile as she shakes his hand. ]
But really, you should probably look into getting some real clothes. Especially if this lasts longer than you thought it would.

So, where are we going? And, uh... how do we get down to the street? I've never tried it without wings.

[ She considers that. He did just fall epically from the side of a building, so she's not sure ladders are the way to go. Too much hand-eye coordination required. ]
I'll take you down.
[ She walks straight over to the edge of the building, drops her line, and holds out an arm for him. ]
Just hold on tight.

...Are you sure?
no subject
[ It takes a lot of willpower to resist the urge to ask, "do you trust me?" ]
no subject
Well, the blush is back. In a mutter: ] Uh... ready.
no subject
There you go. That wasn't so bad, was it?
no subject
Any landing you can walk away from, right? [ He straightens his totally fashionable jacket, and glances over at her costume with a sudden thought. ] Are you going to go like that?
no subject
I wasn't planning on going. I wear the mask for a reason, you know.
no subject
[ ...Technically he does too, really. But it's really hard to pass up a chance like this. ]
no subject
Don't you have friends you could call? [ Friends like Stephanie Brown maybe, or... he has to have other friends, right? ]
no subject
I'm not really sure where my communicator is. [ The hazards of the Porter. ] Uh, hey, speaking ofโ what's the date tonight?
no subject
[ She huffs and puts her hands on her hips. This wasn't exactly how she was planning on spending her night, but she's not in any hurry. There are plenty of other people out doing the hero shtick. At least him she can help. ]
Where was it when you had it last?
no subject
Uh... Queens. [ And if he has to take a bus there he's just going to die of overwhelming experiences. He looks up at the building they'd just made it down from, a little uncertainly. ] ...Do you think if you scared me off of another building, I'd change back?

[ He'll get it later. This human business can't last for too long, right? He considers for a few seconds, then brightens. ]
Hey, could you send a few messages for me? I don't know if anyone's still awake, but it's worth a shot, right?
no subject
That depends who you need to get a message to.

At least I hope he does, I'll have to ask. [ And now that imaginary friend is a he, cool. Why not just call him Alvin Draper and call it a day? ]
I'll see what I can do.

[ She points her grapnel gun at the roof again, poised to leave as soon as she's done saying goodbye. ]
Take care, alright?

[ He waves her off, and... shortly realizes that he never actually got the name of the pizza place. That gets a groan and a facerub. But it can't be too far off, right? He spends about five minutes walking, looking for a parlor, getting a few odd looks. But then, eventually, success! So he'll just be waiting outside it, sort of nervously hovering, to see if either of his names actually shows up. ]

When she finds the place she peeks in the window, finds him, and lets out a sigh of relief. By the time she walks in the door, though, she's wearing a confused look and making sure to give the only other people in the shop as much squinting attention as Brooklyn gets. ]
no subject
Hey, Steph. [ His best attempt at a cool smile, rather than overexcited. ] โOver here.
no subject
I got a message saying you wanted to meet me, but it didn't say anything about... [ She vaguely gestures at him. ]
