i reach out to touch you:

WHO: ImPorts in Venezuela
WHERE: Mérida, Venezuela
WHEN: October 19th 10AM to October 20th 10AM.
WARNINGS: Strong language is likely. Potential violence.
SUMMARY: Welcome to the twenty-four hour masquerade! Refreshments will be flowing throughout the hours, and while entertainment is provided (both musical and theatrical), don't let that deter you from inventing your own mischief. Remember, there's only one rule: while at the masquerade, you cannot remove your mask!

As the levity hits its high notes, however, beware the dark figures scheming in the shadows, those poisoners with swift hands. By 12AM October 20th, the imPort-only virus will be exposed and infecting the masqueraders first, before spreading outwards.
FORMAT: Whatever you'd like.

Masks of all counterfeits paid tribute to the color spectrum that soon poured out into the confetti-strewn streets that morning. The flood of spectacle drowned away any groans of the mundane, and once ten o'clock stuck then did intrigue ascend to the hazy plateau of status quo. Bodies moved like whispers against each other, some seeking friends, while others hoped to fool foes. The air sung with sticky excitement: mischief was welcomed here, as long as you did it honestly. As long as you wore your face over your mask.

[ Somehow John doesn't think that is gonna help them really understand the movies they'd be watching though. ]

Yeah, me neither. Unless they had subtitles? Sometimes English movies come with French and Spanish subtitles. Uh, English like movies in the English language, not movies from England, but probably those too.
adventureboner: (Oops; I've got the dropsies.)

True! Though it's sort of a hassle to watch movies with the subtitles. I tried checking out one of those anime cartoon deals with the subtitles and you just miss all the action trying to read the subtitles!!

You should just watch one of the ones where they redid it in English. It makes it a lot easier to watch!

Yeah, I guess. I mean, don't tell Dirk, but I'm not sure it's my thing, but shoot if he likes it I'm sure it's not horrible.
dupable: (John: Ponder what this could mean)

Really? It's like any other cartoon stuff! I mean... unless you don't like cartoons in general?

NO WAY!! Cartoon's are great! Shit, pulling up for Saturday morning cartoons to check out a round of Tom and Jerry? That's like. The IDEAL way to spend your mornings, I'd say!

Oh man... I haven't watched Tom and Jerry in forever! I don't think I've watched any Saturday morning cartoons in a really long time actually.
adventureboner: (This is messed up... but sweet!)

[personal profile] adventureboner 2012-12-04 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Well shoot, there you go! We can do that next Saturday that comes at us. I'm sure we can find something on the telly.
dupable: (John: Tease your grimdark friend)

[personal profile] dupable 2012-12-08 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds good to me! I guess I should set an alarm though or I probably won't bother waking up in time.
adventureboner: ((02) C'mon grab your friends)

[personal profile] adventureboner 2012-12-09 08:56 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I can give you a hand there, buddy no trouble! Not even arson could stop us!!
dupable: (John: Question life decisions)

Wait-- Arson?

[ That's a pretty strange phrase. Then again, so are a lot of the ones Jake uses. ]

I think I'll be okay though. I am pretty sure if I set an alarm I will get up in time.
adventureboner: (Woof man. This is going bad!)

[personal profile] adventureboner 2012-12-10 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Certainly! I mean arson happens, and then we put it out just in time for cartoons. Because it just couldn't stop us!! ((EXPLAINS.))

[ Alas, Jake, your explanation leaves a lot to be desired. ]

Well lets just hope there isn't an arson committed in the first place before we try watching tv.
