[The fur along his back bristles. Wet Tiger not happy. "Bradbury!" comes out in a roar. "What did you do? How did we get like this?"

His posture isn't one of attack, just irritation, but he can't help but show his teeth and claws at that.]

[ "What did I do?" He balks, rearing up on his haunches defensively, teeth bared, before he catches himself and thumps down on all fours.

"I don't know! If I knew, do you think I'd fucking be like this?" He scrubs at his face with a paw, for emphasis. ]

[wild_roar]

[Kotetsu can't help but enjoy baring his fangs, but something about the situation strikes him. His tiger-tail swishes angrily back and forth, but then he sits down and makes a rumbly noise that could almost be laughter. "I've never heard a bear swear before," he admitted. "This is weird. Weirder than weird."]

[ Bradbury groans, but with his size and the throat muscles means it comes out like low, rolling thunder.

"It's not funny." He squints at Kotetsu, at the ridiculous sight of a tiger looking, well, like that, and huffs a sigh that leaves his breath nearly fogging in front of him.

"Fine. Maybe it's a little funny. But what now?" ]

[wild_roar]

[Kotetsu-tiger shakes his head, and then distractedly starts licking the water off his paws. "Beats mw," comes the purr. "If we're all animals, it's gonna be hard to figure out how we got like this and how to change back. If we can."

His tail lashes some more, and his brown eyes narrow in Bradbury's direction. "If we're stuck like this, I'm going to bite you."]

[ Seriously, the City just took any opportunity for things to go to shit, didn't it?

"I'd like to see you try." Bradbury didn't have a tail to lash, but he did have teeth to bare, and he did it now. He settled down after a moment, then snorted.

"Guess this'd teach you not to take stupid dares, huh?" ]

[wild_roar]

[If it's possible for a tiger to wag one claw like a scolding finger, Kotetsu is doing it right now. "I will never go swimming with you ever again, Bradbury," his growls declare. "Let's stick to drinking instead."]

[ He squints at Kotetsu, but his vision's far shittier as a bear; on the other hand, his nose is far sharper, and he doesn't think he can smell him being actually angry.

"I'm gonna need a drink after this," was what he settled on finally. If he could bury his muzzle in his paws, he would. As it is, he just gives a long, resigned groan.

"You're not gonna let me live this down, are you?"]

[wild_roar]

[Kotetsu's response is sort of half-growl, half-purr, the closest thing to a laugh he can manage right now. "Probably not, no."]

[waiting]

[ "Great," he huffs. He almost reaches out to punch Kotetsu in the shoulder, only to pause when he sees his own blunt, wicked-looking claws.

"We probably look like we got out of a zoo. Maybe we should get out of here before someone calls them in."

[wild_roar]

[Oh that isn't a very pleasant thought. Getting rounded up by cops, maybe even tranquilized? It's enough to make a tiger's fur bristle. But then Kotetsu spots Bight near the shoreline, recognizing him from earlier.

"Huh. I think that guy might be one of us - I mean Imports. Maybe he knows something." He looks back and forth between Bradbury and the others around the area. "I think I'm gonna sniff around, just in case."]

[waiting]

[ "Yeah, he's an import too." Bradbury perks up, even as he settles back down on all fours.

"He knows, uh, magic or something." Saying the word still made him cringe in animal form, but well, what else was he supposed to do? Magic was real around here, whether he liked it or not.

"Maybe he can help out. For now..." He trailed off, looking at the rest of the transformed imports in the water and baring his teeth.

"I'm gonna see if I can sort any of this out." ]

[Magic, huh? That's a promising clue. Kotetsu begins to pad over in Bight's direction, nodding over his shoulder at the big ol' bear. "You do that. I'm gonna see what this guy knows."]
