[Kenzi's morning started off kind of shitty but she had no one to blame but herself. She drank waaaaaay too much the night before and was paying with it come early afternoon with a massive hang over. So she spent the first few hours trying to deal with that.

Eventually she felt well enough to get dressed and go out but what was she going to do while out? Other than get some delicious greasy food in her stomach, of course.

While she ate she though about what to do and eventually she decided she hadn't bugged Gil in a while. Once she was done with her meal she made her way to his place, it was too cold to just fly up to his window and wait so surprisingly she's at the door. Banging on it. If Gil doesn't answer quickly enough she'll start yelling as well.]

Well, you can pay next time at some fancy place. [She grins.]

[ Almost instantly: ] I'm not taking you to an expensive restaurant.

[Instantly pouting at him.] Aw, c'mon. They got better food.

[ He ignores it!! He rises from his seat, slipping his coat on and fixing his scarf. ] And expensive.

Don't you know how to cook?

[She continues to pout as she follows suit.]

Uh...no.

[ He buttons up quickly and then holds the door open for her. ]

You should know how to cook at this age already.

[She slips out past him.]

Wasn't even a priority. Especially since finding food was enough work.

[ Is she really a woman? He doesn't really understand what that's supposed to mean... yet. He lets go of the door handle and falls in step with her. ]

Ingredients aren't that hard. You can make basic sandwiches and soups alone with very little.

Sandwiches aren't hard. Soups that aren't in a can are harder. Anything beyond that might as well be rocket science.

[She ran away from home when she was younger and lived on the streets. Not that he knows any of that.]

What about baking? Do you just eat out all the time? [ But what are you going to do when you're married??

Gil logic. ]

Nope, can't bake. Not unless you want little blackened...whatevers. Pretty much, yeah. [Odds of getting married, slim. And she'll just continue to eat out all the time.]

[ He's practically gaping at this point. ]

[She stops and holds up a finger.]

Hold on let me check. [She opens her coat a bit and pulls the top of her shirt outward a bit as she peers down it.] Uuuum, yeah. Pretty sure I am. I'd have the check downstairs to be positive but this is not the place for that.

[ Gil chokes on the air and starts waving his hands to grab her attention. He quickly averts his eyes, scanning up and down to ensure no one else is seeing this. ]

S-Stop that! What are you doing?!

[Gil, freaking out like that only draws more attention.

Kenzi laughs and zips her coat back up.]

Trying to fly?

Don't-- do that! Undressing in public! Or whatever it is you were doing!

I wasn't undressing but I totally could if you wanted me to. Somewhere more private though.

[ Why is this happening to him? What is it about him that draws women? This is so indecent and scary and oh god his face is going to melt off even though it's cold outside and he can barely feel it anyway. ]

[Kenzi can't keep her laughter in and nearly falls over laughing at his face.]

Calm down or you'll give yourself a heart attack.

You shouldn't be even joking about things like that! [ Because respectable women shouldn't!! ]

Sure you aren't. [She grins and resumes walking.]

[ He grumbles and is soon walking after her, ducking his head in embarrassment from all the stares he's getting. She's the one who was undressing and he's getting the weird looks. ]

What do you even mean by that?

[It's because he was freaking out over it. Obviously someone needs to drag him to a strip club. Which...Kenzi would totally do.]
