They be like, 'Oh, that Gucci - that's hella tight.'
WHO: Angelica & Felicia
WHERE: 5th Avenue Shopping!
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon?
WARNINGS: N/A
SUMMARY: Angelica and Felicia go shopping in preparation for Valentine's Day.
FORMAT: Gabbie's choice.
It's been way too long since they had a real girl's day out together, and while Angie couldn't exactly ditch her duties at the school to spend the entire day cruising the shops with Felicia, it was totally in her power to cut out after lunch and get a good head start on her pre-Valentine's Day shopping. She had to find something perfect to wear for her date with Pietro that night, and no doubt Felicia needed something for the occasion as well, whether she had plans with Edward or not.
And so there they were, 5th Avenue, with all the high end shops tempting the pair of them to browse and select ridiculously expensive outfits to impress their significant others. It was cold outside, the sky turning grey in the midday, hinting that just maybe the afternoon would bring snow.
Just the excuse they needed to go inside and warm up.

How about we go for gold?
no subject
I could never say no to that.

Good, I could use something new in my rotation. Tends to stop glittering after a while.

You always have the best taste, Felicia. Maybe you can help me find something to compliment my wedding ring.

It seems sort of backwards how most families are expected to own at least one car, but a woman owning just one diamond is some kind of issue.

Just look at how nice that one is.
[ Felicia points to a bracelet. ]
Personally, I'd say you were owed about two-grand worth of marriage credit. Books aren't cheap, either.

It's so gorgeous! But I couldn't. He'd freak.

[ She turns to another display, trying on a bracelet herself, inspecting the finery. ]
Everything here's only temporary. You might as well enjoy it.

It does have a nice sparkle to it, doesn't it?
no subject
Matches your complexion, too. And your hair.

[She looks it over, then turns her eyes to Felicia.]
Maybe they have an installment plan.

What would she say, do you think?

[Bracelet still on, she begins to unzip her purse.]
no subject
You can call it a Valentine's present.
no subject
[Now she's thinking, right?]
What about you, Felicia? Have you settled on anything?
no subject
[ She tilts her head, turning the bracelet she'd picked out over in her hand thoughtfully. ]
Just about.
no subject
How pretty!
no subject
I thought so.
[ She tries it on again. ]
What's the final verdict on yours?
no subject
[She gives the bracelet on her wrist one last longing glance.]
I'll take it!

Smart choice. Anyone who'd decline their wife's right to diamonds warrants some scrutiny, if you ask me.
