Come on, love me for the money

WHO: The Job Fair and You!
WHERE: A small park near City Hall
WHEN: Today
WARNINGS: Capitalism?
SUMMARY: It's the job fair. Come one, come all.
FORMAT: Para to start then whatever

It's the most wonderful time of the year. The sun is shining, the mosquitoes are biting, and it's time to think about what the hell you're doing to do with your life now that the summer is winding down. Which is probably why you've ended up at the City Hall sponsored First Semi-Annual Job Fair Spectacular.

The small park has been pretty much taken over by this event. Tables for each company/group that signed up are in rows with either a representative to speak with or a held down stack of promotional materials for any interested parties to pick up. Good luck, job hunters.

[[ooc: Each group that signed up in the OOC post will get a thread below. Even if there are only fliers there, feel free to leave a comment to let the player who runs the company know yours is interested. People manning booth, just start a thread under your group's heading with a description of what's up. Feel free to bump into people and just generally interact as well. If you have a group you'd like to add that you didn't sign up on the ooc post, feel free to add them! April did literally no vetting. Everyone is welcome.]]

Yeah. It's never your fault, is it?

[she mutters lowly under her breath, glaring darkly at the retreating warp of the portal. she knows that Kanaya can't hear it, but it feels good to finally let all of the bile that she'd been trying so hard to keep at bay pour out in one harsh growl.

she'd had a feeling that this was going to end up the way it did, but Nepeta doesn't take any joy in being right. it hurts to lose a friendship, especially one that had been so much trauma together; but then, if it broke so easily then she supposes that there was even less substance there than she'd thought.

good riddance, she thinks sullenly. there were enough problems weighing down on her shoulders that her life would be that much easier without Kanaya bearing down as well. Nepeta allows herself one last snarl before pulling her delivery cap a little more firmly and pasting a smile on. another pedestrian strolls by and she leans out to greet them with a wave.

there was still plenty of work to do.]
