It's the most wonderful time of the year. The sun is shining, the mosquitoes are biting, and it's time to think about what the hell you're doing to do with your life now that the summer is winding down. Which is probably why you've ended up at the City Hall sponsored First Semi-Annual Job Fair Spectacular.

The small park has been pretty much taken over by this event. Tables for each company/group that signed up are in rows with either a representative to speak with or a held down stack of promotional materials for any interested parties to pick up. Good luck, job hunters.

I'd just as soon cast the method aside, if that's a proper understanding. Real art should be born of sweat and tears.

Apparently! Most of my funds have been dubious at best.

Mine are outright untrustworthy.

Well, you know the type. They'll run around all over town if you let them.

A strict curfew is what they need.

Maybe ground them. Literally, in a hole in your backyard, assuming you even have one.

Sadly, my backyard is in another universe. A sentence I always hoped to say.

Then I suppose we'll have to find a new one. Just a random spot to bury it in, and maybe forget entirely.

Wouldn't be much difference, honestly.

We are in a park. Vandalism could be the only way out of this jam.

Vandalism only counts if it's discovered. Digging and burying without a permit is something that could be easily obscured. In fact, that's kind of the point.

Well, I'd have to be a writer for that first, and that just isn't going to happen.

Like anyone writes their own autobiographies.

Well, that is generally the defining feature of an autobiography.

Unless you have enough money and little energy.

If I had the money, I don't think we'd have gotten on the topic to begin with. We probably wouldn't be at a job fair to begin with, although it is under the pretense that we have money to offer our prospects.

The wheels of capitalism once again crush my hopes and dreams.

From what I understand of capitalism, that is generally its main purpose.

That, and I can buy Big Macs.
